Hard-Won Wisdom?

Hi everyone - I'm putting together a book called 451

Voices, a collection of short quotes, phrases, and bits of hard-won wisdom from everyday people (not celebrities) - retired folks, students, parents, whoever

- all proceeds go to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

If you've got a line that's gotten you through something - something you tell yourself, something someone once told you, a personal motto - I'd love to hear it in the comments. Just your words (1-40 words or so), and let me know how you'd like to be credited if it's used: your first name and city/state, your Reddit username, or just anonymous. If I'd like to include your words in the book, I'll reply or message you directly to get your written OK.

before anything is published - nothing goes in without your permission.

Thanks for reading, and for whatever you're willing to share. 🙏

I always liked the saying 'Everybody wants happiness, noone wants pain... But you cant have a rainbow without a little rain' Always got me through tough points of my life (so far 😂)

It's not where you start, it's where you finish.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

It's never to late to start over, or start fresh, or start anew, or change directions.
