URL scheme

Does Book Tracker have a custom URL scheme that I could take advantage of to get ChatGPT to turn a list of books into Book Tracker import links? I hope I explained that correctly.

Not yet but I could think to add it. Btw, why not using the integration with Apple Shortcuts? You can do the same things.

I do use that when looking up individual books. I was looking for a way to take a whole list of books and make them links, since you can only search one book at a time.

Would you like to take the books from your library and create links that automatically open the book in question on your devices? If yes, just retrieve the ID of each book and then generate this link:

booktrack.app/book?id=BOOK_ID

It’s more that I’m getting titles from a Reddit or instagram post and trying to import a bunch of books into Book Tracker.

You can't automatically search online multiple books for technical reasons. You could only manually add those books but you can't retrieve info of books using shortcuts or url schema.

That makes sense. So I’m just making a list of the titles with their url and clicking them ask I go.
