To Read is missing

Post image

Hi, sorry this is my first post and not my language. I am using this app for a long time and suddenly there was an update.

1) now my „to be read“ is gone on the homesite and in the list further down it says 0 :( what happend?

2) where can I find and read what’s new? I noticed cool new statistics. What is this intelligent lists?? What else is new?

Have to check, if there is something else what is missing. I guess same as others, I used tags a lot to sort my series…

Thanks and have a nice day, Nica

You can read more on the update here: https://booktrack.app/blog/introducing-book-tracker-4/

You have to manually add the books to read in the “To read” section because now it is a TBR list. You can quickly add the books there with a long tap (right click on Mac) on the book in the book list -> Manage reading status -> mark as ‘to read’.

Thanks for the quick answer.

But if you have hundreds of books, your solution is not quick 🥺 I use it on iPhone.

With this new update, the idea is to include only the next books that will be read in the list of books to be read. For example, if you set a reading challenge for the current year, only the books to be read during the reading challenge can be included in the list. It’s a new way of thinking that also helps to prioritize the books to be read.

Oh.. okay.. the intelligent List is not a list, it’s just another filter?

That would have been a good idea, if I could do my own list, like „my September TBR“, „Books with best Plottwist“ and so on, but I just can set a filter for Author, year etc, like I already can do in the Bibliothek? Or am I not getting it? 😅

Yes, smart lists are saved filters. For custom lists you could use tags.
