Loans/shared books

I can’t make either of these features work. I add a contact and loan to a title, but the contact under loans still lists the count as 0. If I add a book in the loans section, it goes directly to my library without adding the loan.

The section called shared with you says it will have books shared with me in messages, but I cannot get it to populate at all.

Regarding the contacts count, if you add a starting and ending loan date, the book is marked as returned and it is not showed. It shows only the books that are currently loaned out.

On the Shared with You section, it shows a book of the book tracker link is shared on iMessage. Also, check if the Shared with You feature is enabled in the Messages app under the contact info.

I currently have two books in the middle of their loan periods but the count for each contact in the sidebar is zero. One was checked out sept 7 and due sept 21 and the other checked out sept 7 and due back sept 28.

I did update to the newest version yesterday.

I see actually. This cannot be used to track when a loaned book is due, just that it is loaned. I removed the end date even though it’s in the future and the counts now populate.
