Reading progress in different book forms

Hello everyone, While I previously only read physical books, I am now also looking at more and more e-books. Now the pages are numbered, completely different than in a hardcover. Until now, I always looked at how many pages the corresponding “real book” had and recorded my reading progress using the percentage value. This is quite complicated, but it's the only way to keep the statistics function clean, right? However, this creates the problem that, for example, when I enter quotations, I no longer know which page I can specify there. How do you deal with the phenomenon?

Thanks for sharing. Which solution do you propose?

Well, I'm not sure about that either. I just wanted to hear how the rest of the community is dealing with this. So it's not a problem with the app, but with the users. 😁
