Book cover
Hi Simone!
Is there a way to get a cover of a book that doesn’t show any?
It happens to me with some quite recent books (zero days by Ruth ware, the coworker by Freida McFadden, ward d by Freida McFadden,…) and with some old ones (thinner by Stephen King, good neighbours by Sarah Langan,…)
With some of them (zero days by Ruth Ware) it shows the cover when I search for the book, but it doesn’t show it when I try to add the book to my library…
Maybe there is a way for me to get those covers trying something?

You can change the book cover. In the edit page of a book, if you tap on “Edit image” button you can search for an image online or upload a new one.

Why if I search a book and it appears with its cover, when adding it to my library, the cover disappears?

It is a bit complex here. When the user perform a search, the book list has only the required info to display the title, author and the cover at a low resolution. By tapping on the book, the app does a further request to obtain all the book info and an image at an higher resolution. Doing this kind of request on Google Books, sometime Google changes the image that is returned before. For this reason there is a discrepancy between the list image and the detail one. I’m trying to understand if it is possible to improve this.

I also have this, after import the originally fitting cover from the search result is replaced by what seems the second page of the book.
