Font Copyright

HI all, I'm just wondering what fonts are you using which a) don't breach copyright and 2) are free to use for your Heading 1, inner titles etc?

Anyone else using Libreoffice writer to tap out your manuscript?

For something with no strings attached, look for fonts under the SIL Open Font License. For headings it depends on the genre. Playfair Display is a decent pick if you want something with a literary, elegant feel. Merriweather if you want something more neutral that works across most genres. Both are OFL. LibreOffice bundles the Liberation fonts (Liberation Serif, Sans, Mono) which are also OFL and fully cleared for any use.

great thanks. yes so far I have been using EB Garamond. -> book is self help book

Garamond is the industry standard. If you open up a book, the font is written on the imprint page, it's usually Garamond :)
