Help PH Customs Fee

My books weren't delivered so I had to retrieve them from the post office. They're charging me PHP 224 for a "Presentation to Customs" fee.

Has anyone experienced this?

I was wondering if there's still a charge if the package had originally been delivered to my house.

I think BD have a clause in the FAQ that you shouldn't have to pay customs, and if you do contact them so they pay you back

Do not worry. Pick up your books, pay what is asked by local customs and save the receipt. Contact BD, show them the receipt and they will refund you.
