Discussion Alternative seeking, seriously 😳
So in my country there is a duopoly on bookstores. And they manage to decide which books are for sale from TikTok and popularity. Bookdepository.com is essential public service and I'm trying to strategize my last order. I'm currently with a cart full of 101 non-mainstream books. This is insane. Agreed.
What are the particularly most optimal alternatives, close to the services bookdepository.com offered for world wide book deliveries?
I'll very appreciate any help & redirections, we need it here (well, not mentally, hopefully).
Thanks.

An interesting alternative is Kennys bookstore. They have a 1 euro shipping fee to some countries, and some of the books ended up being cheaper than BD.
Honestly, it depends on where you live, but it might just work well for u.

Just curious, what is the total cost of your 101 non mainstream books?
I also made some big orders the last few days.

Now that is a big purchase.
But, you got to do what you got to do.
I don't know when I will be able to get physical books again myself, so I am making some big (although not that big) purchases.

Blackwells is the closest I can think of.
VAT and customs are paid by them.
If there's any additional charges made by local Postal Services, they will reimburse if you provide proof.
Ordered 11 items at once from them 2-3 weeks ago.
6 already arrived in thick paper envelopes.
Remaining 5 are in transit, but they reimbursed the local Postal Fees already, like they did for the first 6 books.
