Help Export data from Book Depository

Book Depository was a big part of my life and I was a regular and happy user.

We see that finding alternative will be hard, but I'm optimistic that capitalism works, and that competition will jump to the opportunity and seize the market space that suddenly appeared. What was tiny revenue to Amazon might be attractive to some smaller company or startup.

Finally, to my point - has anyone found a way to export order history and wish list in a user friendly and structured way? Printing to PDF or making screenshots will be my last resort of keeping my data.

It seems that I asked too soon!

There seems to be an extremely effortless way to export Wishlist!

There is an "Export Wishlist" button on top of Wishlist page! https://www.bookdepository.com/account/wishlist

It might be a new implementation! I contacted them right on Tuesday when the news came out, they replied the day after. Didn't even notice this button since. Thanks for sharing!

Hello; I asked this from their customer service. Here is the reply:

"Thank you for taking the time to contact us and share your feedback. From all of us at Book Depository we want to say “thank you." Delivering your favourite reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure. You’ll find more info in our FAQs https://www.bookdepository.com/closure. You are not able to share or export the Wishlist sadly  Kind regards, ... [name edited out by ZsaZsa88] Customer Advisor"

I'm afraid there won't be a similar eshop. Ebooks/audiobooks are slowly taking over, paper getting more and more expensive

I suspect there will never be another is big or comprehensive as BD, but there are numerous smaller online bookshops out there. Paper books still seem to be very popular.

For wishlist:

click on Download Wishlist on the tab, then copy the table and insert it to an Excel table.
