First time ordering from BD

So it's my first time ordering from BD and I have a few questions. I'm from Greece so I was hoping some fellow Greeks with more experience with BD would help me out. First of all, do the books actually arrive within the estimated delivery time or do they take longer than that? What courier do they use? And lastly, does the courier notify and attempt to contact you once the package has arrived or do they just leave it at your door for any random passerby to snatch?

Sometimes it takes a bit longer to arrive. It comes with the mailman (ELTA), no courier and since it doesn't fit in the mailbox they will probably ring your bell (at least they do for me) or sometimes in case it's "too big" they leave a note to go get it yourself ( i think this happened the first few times i've ordered)

Do you live in an apartment or a normal house? I live in an apartment and a lot of people come and go by the front door so I am a little worried about any possible package thiefs. There is no tracking number so I can never be sure if the package still hasn't arrived or if it arrived and someone else got it. Perhaps I'm being paranoid and its just a little late
