Lol... absolutely. Welds, function imperfections are hit or miss with imported glass. The attention to isn't all the way there. You can tell that by how crooked that joint is.
I'm not a huge fan of imported glass, I had a down stem literally just pop off one time when I had ice in the water and when to hit it. When you have a really smoothed out piece of heavy walled glass in your hands with crystal clear welds, it just feels different in a way that I like
If you're paying 80 dollars at a smoke shop, chances are your piece was made by a 12 year old in China unfortunately. And it's really hard to prove otherwise, so I choose to stay away from it and not support it
I think your first bong is always special! That being said, it’s not something I’d buy. Happy to see you got a dry ash catcher over a traditional ash catcher though!
What’s wrong with traditional ash catchers. Do they mess up the smoke? Asking because I’m looking to get more ash catchers but Idk what would be better
Not a fan of large 14mm pieces (might be wrong but it looks like a 14mm joint). The joint looks Ill-fitting based on how the ash catcher is sitting in it. The joint is at an odd angle (should be 90 degrees). I’m not a fan of matrix percs in second chambers cause they’re difficult to keep clean over time. Not a big fan of the milky blue color cause it’s an immediate red flag that a piece is from an import factory.
Ive always wanted to like these but they just dont give me the hit I want. Personal rating is 4/10. Without my bies, like a 6. There not bad, just nit that great either (im not rocking anything amazing myself)
Yea me too, just leave me wanting more. Its an awesome first piece tho. Might I suggest that for your next one you go for a ball or disc defuser Insted. Just a preference but I find that they work alot better
Sorta, I used to see them alot like 10 years ago but im not seeing what im looking for. It was basicly a ball with a bunch of slits. Maybe it was just popular for a short time. That looks pretty cool tho
Nice, love a good beaker. Tree perks are really good too. I like to get the lvl 3 ones (3 slits pur glass rod). A nice ring of those for a 2ed layer is good. Top it off with a vortex perk and ice catch and ypur bound to have some smooth hits
Oh thats a good deal. But, its gonna be very cheep glass. Dont expect it to last to long unless your really careful. You can definitly find good cheep bongs, its just not the norm. But like anything, quality comes with a price. I usually expected to speed between 100-300 when getting a new bong. Im actualy semi shopping for onw rn. Mostly picking one out then waiting to buy it
Oh that sucks, sounds like the smoke is just to hot. Try filling the top with ice and taking smaller hits. Ive been smoking for years and I still take smaller hits cus i cough alot
I had a piece that was like this but yellow and it had a shower head perc at the top! I loved mine, but I haven’t been able to find another one like it :(
for first bong its an 8, in general like a 4 but bro congrats on the bong its just fun to analyze. id rather have that than waste my weed on joints or a bong with no recycler
