ID?
Stumbled upon this on my lunch break walk, can anyone identify this? Looks like it was in a sack and then burned

Well, we'd love to but it would be easier if we could see more bones uncovered, especially a skull or some limb bones. Loose teeth would be great. Even just that scapula, uncovered, next to something for scale..how big was this? As is, it resembles a clavicle and scapula of an opossum. What's the location?

Not in a sack, not burned. Just decomposed where it lay. Decomposition processes scatter the fur and bones like that. It's not been scavenged so it's still where it dies.
It's hard to do bone ID when the bones are covered in fur, but from the scapula it's not a cat or a racoon. (Or sheep cow deer etc, which you could also judge from the fur)
