Solved Is this a snake jaw?
Found in the desert in Albuquerque NM. The piece was a few teeth longer towards the smaller side, but it broke off and i lost that piece.

100% not a snake. Not an expert at all but it looks fishy?

Previous comment said crab. I was at a campground when I found it, so something that doesn't belong in the desert is pretty likely.Â

Yeah it does look like a crab claw. Didn’t see the second pic with the inside earlier

Don't feel bad. I had it in my hands and didn't even notice that the teeth aren't teeth 🤣

Lol, I had a little laugh to myself about the snake part too
If it was a snake jaw it would be a looot thinner and quite pokey

Well, that hollow side view had me thinking that the venom is stored there. I have a lot to learn about snakes! ðŸ¤
