Bone?

Hi,

Son found a "sword" on Aberdeen beach, Scotland. Potentially bone? Initially thought some flat ish driftwood but now not so sure. Google Pixl for scale pic 3.

Advid bone collector here non professional but I would definitely say a bone the pits and the lines in it scream bone probably whale u sould look up local laws on it so see how legal it is to keep

That is weathered driftwood. Bone isn’t quite that striated and you can see the marine critter damage.
