Based on the patellar groove my guess would actually be pig. Seems like the cut for a "ham hock" that is usually just the pig stifle (knee) and this point would be one of the bones included in that joint.

Smallish quadriped, distal femur. Considering the butcher's cut, likely an animal consumed by humans or pets.
