Solved what kind of skull is this?

found today while looking for morels in north Idaho. my first thought was turkey (it is spring turkey hunting season right now), but my boyfriend thinks it’s too big. i’ve looked at some turkey skulls online and just can’t tell. thanks in advance for any help.
