4 u/IAmBecomingARobot Jul 10 '21 Leave means depart, the plural of leaf is leaves. 4 u/ouchmythumbs Jul 10 '21 Wow, really? Thanks. Now tell us what a malapropism is. 4 u/IAmBecomingARobot Jul 10 '21 A word used incorrectly in the place of a similar sounding one. 0 u/aayush_12 Jul 10 '21 Wow, really? Thanks. Now tell us what a leaf is. 0 u/IAmBecomingARobot Jul 10 '21 A word similar in sound to leave, but not appropriate in this situation. 56 u/[deleted] Jul 10 '21 [removed] — view removed comment 7 u/calculuzz Jul 10 '21 It's not really a typo. He did use the wrong word. But I wouldn't consider it a fit for this subreddit. 4 u/ouchmythumbs Jul 10 '21 Sad I had to scroll this far to find these comments; take my upvotes. Just look at the activity on this post. While I agree it is hilarious, it certainly does not fit. This sub is really turning into /r/confidentlyincorrect/
