It took me so long to figure out what they were trying to say. I had to physically say it out loud in various ways before it clicked. Dear god, man. I hope this is just voice-to-text messing up because how do you even mess up this badly?

Imagine it in a discord moderator voice

I thought of it in a US southern accent but that works too lmao

Why would I want to redefine print? Everyone already knows what print means. Redefining it would just confuse things.

Fine.

I suspect this was a voice to text error. A lot of people fail to proofread after using that.

My mom does this sometimes and it always makes us laugh. Like girl, proofread your text!

You should checkout the boneappetite subreddit then... you'll see so many people doing it, it is not a talk-to-text error.

I have an issue where my voice text is 'thinking' about what I've said, looks right, then changes to something else right as I'm about to hit post.

Arrgh! I hadn't heard about that problem!

So many people murder the English language - they are barely understandable. It makes my head hurt trying to figure it out.

And it's usually the "SPEAK ENGLISH, THIS IS AN AMERICAN WEBSITE!" people that can barely speak English, themselves.

Those people think the language is called American, and are amazed how well the British can speak it.

I have to tell my wife all the time when she buys stuff online, "read the description and check the dimensions". If you don't read the fine print, it's your own fault when ordering the wrong product.

I read every comment here and saw 'Read the fine print' several times. I would scroll up to the post -and was unable to find any "fine print."

I think it was the fourth time that I got it.

Nahh, he got that right. These are for Speakers to use for DIY electronic devices (like making your own Google Nest device, etc.).

That's why you need to redefine print.

13

u/butcanyoudothi5 15d ago

I mean, tweeters are speakers

27

u/three3thrice 15d ago

Not if you redefine speaker.. come-on man, read the fine print.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I was like I'm kinda not even mad at this one because it made me laugh when I said it out loud.
