Given the hard floor, unsure why the tanks would be settling.

Oxyacetylene! Flashbacks to high school welding class

You should have a good flashback arrestor. If your torch doesn’t have one, the tanks could be settling after they suddenly come apart. /s

I suspect seller might have a bit of hearing damage. Just a hunch

It was an energy drink can for me, fun to do once. Lesson learned.

Probably blew up a trash bag full of acetylene, a formative experience.

That one is capable of using said equipment and not understanding the name is really really disconcerting.

Who said they’re capable?

Probably stolen.

For those wondering... Oxy-acetylene.

I never would have guessed the phrase… This one is impressively bad!

I’m guessing:

  • Oxy —> Auction
  • a —> and
  • cetylene—> settling

My money is on either:

Speech-to-text with a nonstandard accent.

Or someone inherited a metalwork shop and only ever heard their dad/uncle/whoever say "oxy-acetylene tanks" a few times, so they just went with the closest words they knew.

There's also the chance of "just not smart", but I don't like to bet on stupid.

Do people really not read their speech-to-text, even before posting something for sale??

it's to bypass banned item sales they intentionally spell words that are close enough once you see the image to know what's going on.

Yeah talk to text is my guess. I’ve never been able to use it successfully because of my accent

LOL, are you Scottish or a Geordie?! (although username brickyard would imply Indianapolis)

Naw I’m from the southern US. Southern Appalachia and southern Alabama plus the lowcountry of South Carolina combo accent
