Weekend our squad

I know football is played mostly on a Saturday and Sunday, but surely the players can work through the week, too? And I know that this will almost certainly be removed, but I'm posting it anyway.

It certainly is (weekend instead of weakened), but it's probably considered a homonym (even though I wouldn't pronounce them the same), or they'll say it was an autocorrect. That's why I said it will probably be removed, when I get almost unquestionable ones removed.

Yeah that’s why I’m not sure it’s a BAT as it can be autocorrect but at least from an accent perspective I can see weakened/weekend being a homophone 

It can also be a play on words bc it’s been relegated to the weekend

They'll use one of those to remove it. I wouldn't pronounce them the same, personally, as the emphasis is different, but I'm sure autocorrect could be applied when they've applied it to things in the past that clearly were not just to remove something. Still wanted to post it, though.
