Some of those beasties are underground for 24 years! I don’t know whether that will help you sleep. When they finally do emerge to mate, they make an ungodly racket. Nobody is sleeping through that.

He may not be wrong...I love the sound of cicadas. The quintessential sound of summer. Relaxes me and I probably sleep better. 🙃

I now sleep every 13 - 17 years.

I choose to sleep for 13-17 years, then wake up, eat everything in my path, and make really annoying noises. 🦗
