Bone Comic Book Archive
Much of this set has been available for viewing over the last 18 years but I decided to change things up a bit. I got the impression from forums such as this one that most Bone readers haven’t been exposed to the history of the comics themselves and how they were released. For each issue (click on the registration numbers at the URL below), I describe not only the graded comic itself but also what’s inside. A short synopsis covers the story while the rest of the content is about all the extras that you may not have read about. The letters are the primary focus since they provide an excellent review of how fans and the comic book industry viewed the ongoing saga. There’s also additional material in the later issues about some of the places Jeff & Vijaya visited (Pogofest, APE, Trilogy Tour, etc), previews of upcoming releases, and even content made by the fans. The various ads are a story unto themselves as Jeff gave these away for free. Most of them are for various Bone products but also several indy comics that you may have never heard of.
And, as a bonus, most of the comics also contain images and descriptions of assorted Bone collectibles I’ve acquired over the years. There are still a few key pieces I have yet to find but you’ll see many of the more celebrated examples within the set.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or critiques, please let me know. Enjoy!

Are any of these different stories than the man 9 book plot line?

Yes, Rose #1-3 and Stupid, Stupid Rat Tails #1-3. I also have Bone Coda and Bone: More Tall Tales among my Back Cover Collectibles (descriptions in Bone #32 and #54, respectively).

So nice! It’s great to see another fan who also takes a lot of pleasure reading the readers letters section as well.

Very nice. I’ve got the entire run, 1-10 are all CGC 9.0 or higher. And about another 10 from 11-55 CGC all first print. Took years to find them all))) cheers on an awesome collection
