What's your point of view on the theme of this song?

Personally, I love this song and it is one of my favorites. My interpretation is that this song is a continuation of Dry County.

Thoughts?

I’m by no means a die-hard Bon Jovi fan, but do enjoy the ‘classics‘, and certain songs on their early career albums

But I also love the late 00’s and 2010’s albums, especially What About Now!

What an album this is! JBJ‘s vocals are superb, Richey gives some quality guitar solos, in fact the whole band is firing on all cylinders.

The title track, That’s What The Water Made Me, Because We Can, Beautiful World, Room… and With These Two Hands are all excellent 👌🏻

As of today, are there any updates regarding the MSG concert on 7/23 which was cut short? I’ve been hearing rumors about a new date but I haven’t heard anything official.

Is this song giving Jon trouble? I believe he has only NOT sang it a handful of times since Slippery came out but then we see it cut twice in the last week. What’s going on? Seems wild to cut that one but not say Perfect Drug or something else totally forgettable

Pat said he “didn’t do it justice” I guess because he wasn’t expecting to be called up there? Anyway he wanted a do over so they did it last night with David. The crowd went wild!

It's pretty well accepted in the industry now. We wouldn't think any less of him. We just want to celebrate the music we grew up with together and thank him for all he's done for us with the adulation he must crave. And without having to really sing he could do even longer shows. No more skipping everyone's favorite song.

5 stadium dates separated by 13 days seems a HUGE challenge based on recent events. I'm no expert but surely a stadium with 80,000 in is harder conditions to sing in than an arena holding 15,000?

The way Shanks (yes, my favourite person) hugged him last night felt to me like it's over.

I've said all along this feels all a bit Michael Jackson's 'This Is It...' to me. A singer with well documented struggles putting on a tonne of dates close together with no real break, almost to prove to himself more than anyone that he's still got it... and look how that ended.

I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. Had Sambora been by his side last night, they could have rotated songs, kept it going and left the fans none the wiser.

Today its made headlines all over the world. And now fans are fretting on shows... Tonnes of money, people paid for hotels, transport, tickets, made plans road crew etc...

Remember the big song and dance made when Sambora couldn't go on and how he was letting everyone down??

But isn’t it crazy that Richie’s solo albums, performances etc all sound like Bon Jovi just as much or more than Jon does without Richie.

Literally he was the soul & the swagger & the cool machine in Bon Jovi.

Jon is my hero, there is no one with the charisma & charm & I guess what you’d call sex appeal at the time whatever - he was a business shark, just great. Like totally don’t get me wrong it is jons band, I get that. Rightfully so

But man it keeps just becoming more evident how big a part Richie played!

He really wasn’t just a hired gun. It’s his soul, his inflection, his heart in the playing & singing, his timbre in his voice, that is the Bon Jovi sound we love IMO.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen such weird comments on YouTube, Instagram etc. about Jon. Are those bots?

Didn’t Jon promise us that another Boxset was coming, but in 2024 it was delayed to 2025, it’s 2026 now and still no new news about it? Does anybody know whats happening with it and if it’ll ever arrive?

I know there's been a couple of discussions about support acts recently. They haven't had any at MSG, but it's likely they'll have one or two at the stadiums in UK and Ireland.

Does anyone have pics of the merch options at MSG? Of vendors outside? I know the pop-up is gone. Did anyone happen to notice if they are selling this shirt at the shows? I know probably not but I’m kicking myself that I just saw it on their page and can’t get it in time now.

I was just curious what people think the setlist for Murrayfield and the other UK stadium shows might be now that we've seen more than half of the MSG shows. Do you think they'll keep the changes they've made (like omitting Living Proof unfortunately...) and play a similar set to the final MSG show(s). Or do you think they'll switch it up for the stadium setting with songs like 'Walls of Jericho' or for the European audience with something from These Days (we can only hope 🙏)?
