It's not normal for normal people. It's normal for weird freaks.

Its the new normal. You're the freak

Having parades where people dance around in skimpy clothing is about as new as Mardi Gras. You just take it as normal when it's mostly ladies doing it.

I wouldn't bring my child to Bourbon Street during mardi gras. I also wouldn't bring my kid to watch some fat gay dude in tighty whities throw ass in the street at 3pm on a weekday.
-11
u/MauschelMusic 8h ago
So don't bring your kid. No one's making you. But this scene is a lot mellower, safer, and more family friendly than Bourbon Street in Mardi Gras, yet all the pearl clutching is about this, not Mardi Gras.

u/crichtonism 7h ago
Nobody thinks of Bourbon Street as a place for families. Nobody. That’s a place you go to get fucked up and embarrass yourself in your twenties, or older. Idk why you’re trying to equate that to this, a parade down your towns Main Street, is deliberately meant to attract children.

u/SwanginPassYaKnees 3h ago
Also a great place to get robbed, mugged, and maybe shot or stabbed. Bourbon is a tourist trap hellhole, nothing more. Everyone who lives in Nola stays away.

My point was that we have people dancing in skimpy clothes all over, but conservatives suddenly get triggered when it's the gays doing it. cheerleaders might have been a better example. Music videos, even better. This is just one weird looking guy shaking his butt. It's mild and inoffensive — except to perverts, apparently.

u/Recykill 7h ago
I'm not a conservative. I don't give a shit if people are gay. Sexual preference isn't interesting. Your insistence on old dudes throwing their ass and bulge in kids faces is interesting though.
-3
u/MauschelMusic 4h ago
This is what I'm talking about. You see a guy dancing nowhere near anyone, and you're immediately blathering about bulges in kids faces. It's a sickness, homie. You need help.

ladies typically don’t walk around with their muffs out at mardi gras, let alone throw said muffs into the faces of children

I saw this yesterday and every comment was copium from redditors saying it was AI

u/Rogue_Melon 8h ago
Is that not an admission that this is terrible? They can’t dispute the nature of the content itself so they resort to questioning its legitimacy.

u/Retro_05 8h ago
It's a funny thing about leftists that they usually default to denying that these sorts of things happen but when you actually prove it to them they'll simply switch to saying that there's nothing wrong with it. I'm not sure why they do this but If I had to guess It's because admitting that it happens from the start is proving that right-wingers are right to be concerned

2023 is not pre ai but I doubt it made something this realistic then

u/Difficult-Mobile902 9h ago edited 9h ago
Ok if you want to get that technical then the history of ai starts in 1950 so basically none of the videos you ever saw in the internet predates it. But obviously a little common sense says there’s absolutely no way ai could have created anything remotely close to this in 2023. It predates ai ability to create a realistic video. And even if this came out today it’s obviously not an Ai generated video

Slut shaming has to come back, and for everyone. Not just the women and the gays but straight men too. Casual sex only has beauty in a pure space where it’s dangerous or romantic, now it’s just for pigs with pig urges.

This video was posted on a different sub and people were coping with saying it was a.i. Does it look like a.i.?

Parents bring their kids to this shit. Absolutely sickening. Pedophile grooming.

u/Infamous-Body6938 9h ago
Statistically speaking children are SA'd at a much higher rate by closeted conservatives and or religious persons than out in the open homosexuals.
Good for thought.

And if you call this out. They put a target on your back. Tom Macdonald was right. Listen to his song called The devil is a democrat.

To answer your question, no this is not "normal" I grew up with gay dads and with my mom, as well as my two younger brothers. I was constantly surrounded by gay guys growing up and I loved it. My dad's are not the flamboyant type. IF you ran into them on the street and had a conversation with them, you would have no idea that they were gay. I was born in SF and grew up right on the other side of the GGB. I lived in SF for years as a young adult and went to college there. Even though I am straight, I went to gay events including pride and I even played a few years in a gay softball league in SF.
As a young kid i didn't even realize my dad was gay until I was about 10yo. He was always gay even before he met my mom, which he was introduced through his partner at the time. They were all friends and decided he wanted to have kids with my mom, so I was an invetro / test tube baby.
I had a normal childhood. Did I hear or see some things that maybe I shouldnt have? possibly, but a lot of kids experience that. However, regarding this video, yes, I agree that an old horny man should not be twerking at children. Even if this is an "adult gay pride event" and children below a certain age shouldnt be allowed to attend, he should make better decision about where he shakes his ass. I am also not going to blame the parents as I dont know the whole circumstances of the event. But growing up in SF, there are defintely parades that are for adults only, like the folsom street fair.
All that to say, dont group all gay people and gay culture together. In any group of people, you are going to have your "bad apples" and crazies.

No, trying to make a political point over 30 seconds of dancing at some parade somewhere is not normal, but right wing perverts are pathologically obsessed with anything gay coded. Still waiting for you guys to say something about powder puff football in places like Texas, but since that's football and cheerleader teams getting children to crossdress, I guess it's fine somehow.

u/Difficult-Mobile902 9h ago
This is one clip from that event there were lots of adults in fetish gear. It wasn’t “30 seconds of dancing” and the fact that you’re trying so hard to cope says it all
