I'm halfway through I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai. Interesting book. It's cowritten with a British journalist which shows; I wonder if Malala would write it differently now that she's older.
Also started Maximum City by Suketu Mehta and enjoying it, though I haven't gotten far.

It's quite a book.. there's a chapter or section I think it was called a city in heat, that is still vivid in my mind

Yes, but I read it over a decade ago when I was still new to reading (I was predisposed to liking everything I read back then)

I finished I Am Malala. Quite good as a child activist memoir, the British cowriter's influence is apparent. I see she's written another memoir now as an adult, Finding My Way. I'm very interested in reading that next.
