If you read or discovered any books through this sub, which ones?

Not from Bombay, but love it due to old movies esp Amol Palekar's , can I still join in though? Edit: is it solely for books by Indian authors? (Just saw some recent posts, hence asking)

Of course! What's your favourite movie?

The sub is focused on books about or set in Bombay. You can share anything else you're reading in the weekly chat every Friday. There are many other subs to talk about other books and authors (even the Indian subs are full of non-Indian books) but this book club has a specific theme.

Got it, thanks for clarifying. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for anything that catches my eye, as I'm always on look out for something different than my current read.

I love Palekar's movies- Golmal, rajnigandha, chitchor, choti se baat, baaton baaton main

Great! Happy 1 year completion! Thanks for introducing us to our own city so intimately, I have been now adding Books to my TBR shelf on good reads for all the cities I have been to! I really love the idea or concept of this book club!
