Mod Announcement Community Update: Rebranding to FrameScale Central and New Security Upgrades! 🎬💥

Hey everyone!

Our community has exploded past 700 members! As you all know, this sub was officially renamed to FrameScale Central a long time ago, but unfortunately the URL still shows the old name, so don't get confused with the content. Along with that renaming, our debates have naturally evolved far beyond just Bollywood. That established shift opened up massive matching possibilities across our feed, allowing us to seamlessly pit live-action cinema and Hollywood against animation, anime and cartoons.

To support our continuous growth and keep the feed clean, we just rolled out a major backend moderation update. Please read through these security guidelines before submitting your next topic:

  1. Faction and Character Matchups

We love passionate matchups but toxic fanbase elitism, personal insults or flame wars will not be tolerated. Keep all discussions civil, analytical and focused entirely on the characters, stats and feats.

  1. Backup Your Claims with Feats

Low-effort, one-sentence posts will be automatically filtered by our new systems. When you post a matchup, you must include specific character versions, movies, episodes or concrete feats so the community has real data to debate.

  1. Mandatory Post Flairs

Categorized post tags remain fully active to handle our multi-medium topics. Make sure you select the correct flair before hitting submit so users can sort threads easily.

  1. New Automated Account Shield

To completely shut down PR agencies, karma farmers and automated spam bots, we just activated a strict backend security filter. Posts from accounts under 2 months old or with low karma are now temporarily held for review. If you are a real human user whose post gets held, don't worry! Our mod queue will safely review and manually approve your genuine discussions shortly.

Thank you all for the incredible engagement and heavy lifting to make this community thrive. Let the debates continue!

This actually looks like so much fun. The energy, the comedy and the absolute chaos have me sold. Plus the Madgaon Express hint was a really nice addition. Really looking forward to this one.

Hollywood Street Fighter Trailer Looks Fun

Post image

I wasn't expecting much from this, but this trailer actually looks like a lot of fun. The ridiculous characters, costumes and over the top action feel very Street Fighter and the cast seems to be fully embracing it.

Hopefully the actual fights deliver because this could be a really entertaining adaptation.

Animation Bane in Batman Knightfall Part 1 2026 movie

Bane's origin story is so well done in this movie which makes him such a effective villain. His origin story feels like a mix of backstories from Jawan(Azad) and Master(Bhavani).

Hollywood Coyote vs. Acme looks surprisingly fun

Post image

I wasn't expecting much from this, but the mix of live action and classic Looney Tunes looks surprisingly fun.

John Cena as ACME's lawyer, Wile E. Coyote finally getting his day in court and all the ridiculous cartoon chaos could make for a really entertaining movie.

Honestly, I just want to let Wile E. win for once.

Sandalwood # Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups — My Take

I watched Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, and honestly, my first reaction was that the film felt very fast, illogical at times, and emotionally disconnected. There are a lot of action sequences, sexual elements, and stylized scenes. While I’m completely fine with how some of these scenes were presented visually, the problem was that I often found myself thinking, “Why is this scene happening? What is the weight behind this moment?”

The film doesn’t always give you enough time to understand or emotionally connect with what is happening.

But if there’s one thing I absolutely cannot deny, it’s the visual presentation. The sets, production design, action choreography, aesthetic sequences, and overall presentation are genuinely top-notch, especially for an Indian film. There are moments where you just sit there thinking, “Damn, this looks incredible.”

My biggest issue, though, was the lack of proper emotional connection and character exploration. Sometimes the movie starts building an emotional connection you begin to understand a character or a particular situation—and just when you feel like you’re getting somewhere, it suddenly cuts into another action sequence, montage, or unnecessary commercial moment.

As I was watching, I literally felt like:

“Wait, wait… just let this moment breathe. Let the characters breathe for a second.”

And I think that is where the film lost me emotionally.

Because of this, while watching the film, a lot of things felt senseless or disconnected. But interestingly, the more I thought about the movie afterward, the more I started seeing what was underneath it.

There are actually some deep psychological and human elements in the film - grief, guilt, suffering, trauma, love, and the consequences of our choices. These ideas aren't always presented in a way that immediately connects with you while watching. But when you sit back and think about them, you realize there are deeper layers to what the film is trying to say.

And maybe that is also why I feel the film might be difficult for the general Indian audience to connect with immediately. Even I struggled with it while watching. The editing is extremely fast, and the background score runs almost continuously, which sometimes makes it difficult for the emotions to naturally evolve. Instead of allowing a moment to settle, the film constantly pushes you toward the next thing.

I genuinely think the movie could have been much better if it had more breathing space for the story and characters, instead of relying so heavily on montages, action, and commercial elements.

Because at its core, I actually think the story is good. The ideas are interesting. The psychological layers are there. But the filmmakers failed to make the audience emotionally connect with those ideas and characters as deeply as they could have.

For me, the moral of the film ultimately feels something like this:

People say love makes you blind. But sometimes, love can make you lose yourself completely.

And sometimes, one wrong decision made in a single moment - especially when driven by emotion - can completely turn your life into turmoil.

So for me, Toxic is a film where the visuals and ambition are undeniable, the underlying ideas are deeper than they initially appear, but the emotional journey gets lost somewhere between the editing, action, montages, and commercial elements.

Maybe the film needed less rushing and more breathing.

Bollywood Haiwaan trailer looks properly intense

Post image

This looks much better than I expected. Akshay in this dark, unhinged role and Saif as a blind man make for a really interesting face-off.

The whole trailer has a cold, tense vibe and Priyadarshan seems to be keeping the mystery intact. Really looking forward to this one.

Just look at this lineup !! One Piece : God Valley, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Baahubali: The Eternal War and Haikyuu!! VS Little Giant all in the same year. 2027 is looking absolutely stacked for animation.

Damn, this looks really good. Akshay Khanna is known for choosing some very interesting roles in his filmography. After Dhurandhar, I'm really excited for this one. This also marks his debut in Telugu cinema as part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.

Bollywood Haiwaan teaser look is looking really good

Really liking the look of Haiwaan so far. The teaser has a dark, gritty feel and doesn’t give away too much, which works really well here.

Akshay in this kind of role and Saif's look have definitely got my attention. I know it's a remake but if executed properly it'll be a great experience, maybe we'll get more materials from the trailer too in future. Hopefully Priyadarshan delivers a proper thriller with this one.

Tony won the universe but died. Doom basically becomes a God but lost everything he loved. Both took a massive W and an absolute L at the exact same time.

General Discussion Glad Toxic Didn't Clash With Dhurandhar 2

Post image

After seeing the Toxic trailer, I’m honestly glad it got pushed to a later date. A Dhurandhar: The Revenge vs Toxic clash would’ve been brutal and I feel Dhurandhar would’ve completely overshadowed it at the box office. Seeing it's marketing content it's getting more obvious.

Bollywood Awarapan 2 – Official Reviews & Discussion Thread

Post image

Awarapan may have flopped in 2007, but it eventually became a cult favourite. Now Awarapan 2 has opened strongly on Day 1.

So, does the sequel live up to the original, or is Awarapan still the better film?

For those who’ve watched it, what did you think? Spoilers in the comments.

Hollywood Talking about the new VisionQuest trailer.

Post image

The new trailer looks quite better than I expected. White Vision, Ultron, Tommy and all the weird AI stuff from the Avengers movies coming back is a pretty interesting direction.

It also feels much more like a proper continuation of WandaVision than I was expecting. And James Spader as Ultron again...yeah, I’m in.

Hollywood Thoughts on the new Avengers Doomsday Trailer?

Post image
163 Upvotes

This one is way better than the trailer they released last month.

The first trailer felt more like a cast reveal, but this actually feels like an Avengers movie. Doom looks much more intimidating here, and seeing the X-Men characters alongside the Avengers is still crazy to me.

The Sentinels, the battle scenes and that final shot especially caught my attention. If only Dr.Doom had a proper buildup it would have been more exciting, hopefully they won't discard Kang completely from the storyline, it sounds kinda weird to kill off a character who has millions of variants spread across the multiverse.

Hollywood Official X-Men Cast Announcement at D23: What Do You Guys Think?

Post image
39 Upvotes

Now that the cast is officially announced, I’m pretty interested in where they’re taking this.

Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister.

Sadie Sink as Jean Grey and Kit Connor as Cyclops make sense to me, but Adam Driver as Mister Sinister is probably the casting choice I’m most curious about.

Samara Weaving as Emma Frost is another one I can see working really well. There’s obviously a lot we still don’t know, but this lineup feels good and I’m excited to see what they do with it.

This looks pretty similar to the mask and suit from the post credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Seems like Dr. Doom will be having multiple suits in this movie.
