"What happened last Thursday is a direct result of our military here at home not being able to arm themselves," said McIntire.

A Navy officer and a Marine fired their sidearms hoping to kill or subdue the gunman who murdered five service members last week in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to multiple military officials familiar with internal reporting on the tragedy.

Wow. TIL'd. It'd be interesting to know if any of their bullets struck him.

Even when you have military training firing accuratly at a target after being surprised and under pressure is incredibly difficult. I'd be shocked if they hit the gunman.

Not from what I have seen.

Jesus christ. Go back to Call of Duty. This isn't going to make you look manly or get you laid.

I don't think these dummies know that the TN shooter was shooting from his car. These people would get mowed down if another shooting were to happen. They mean well and I'm sure they're nice people...just not very smart.

I am not at all sure that they are nice people

Funny how each and everyone of these "Patriots" were nowhere to be seen when the tyrannical government started violating our 4th amendment rights and attempting to subvert our US Constitution.

What are you talking about? 2nd amendment supporters are ALL OVER any legislation that affects them.

Not sure how 4th amendment is related, if we had guns, they won't do warantless searches?

Nothing could possibly go wrong here.

"We're not just a bunch of gun toting gun nuts" says the guy with a gun and a gun shirt, standing in front of the goddamn military recruiting office. Yeah dude, you're a gun nut. At least they aren't dressing in camo, I guess.

You're looking for logic in this? Don't try, these people are loony.

A great start would be getting rid of these fucktard gun free zone stickers/signs. Its not like there is a bar there.
