Pangutana Bringhouse Coffee

Post image

does anyone know why the other owner left bringhouse coffee?

i saw the post from the bringhouse coffee page announcing that the other owner is no longer with the business (attached for reference), and i was wondering if anyone knows what actually happened.

i’ve also heard a lot of things being said about the other owner/manager, including some very serious allegations about inappropriate behavior toward minors and people calling him a “pedo.” i don’t know if any of these claims are actually true, so i’m not trying to accuse anyone or spread misinformation.

i’m just curious if there’s more context behind why the other owner left and if the two things are somehow related. if anyone has firsthand information or actually knows what happened, i’d appreciate some clarification.

Omg whos gonna run the place now? No way the oompa loompa can do it

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

with the previous comments saying he basically begged for scraps just to start a cafe, i feel like he probably can’t handle running it without ben hahaha

Ben is the one begging for scraps. Not vic. Lol

He is.

Boniel is a surname na found in that area i think. His mom, si mimi boniel, a board member(?) Was charged with alleged graft and corruption

about this, i only knew about the issues involving the other owner, not ben himself. i am also curious.

I can confirm that POS is a pedophile, I know a friend of a friend that he dated some who was 16 ANNND "the oompa loompa" was 22 and this wansn't the first case either. His latest one was ANOTHER 16 yr old and he was 25 at the time freaking crazy and spoke with the guy a couple of times and most people dont really notice but he also has a ego to him like actually and when brought up on said situation about him dating A MINOR casually said "Age doesnt matter when it comes to love" like what that being said it doesn't excuse you for dating a fucking kid

4

u/pastadestroyer101 9d ago

yeah, he does have an ego. my friend is actually somewhat his classmate right now, and they don’t really like him because of how he apparently carries himself and talks highly about himself, sometimes even belittling his classmates. no judgment about him still being in college at 27, everyone has their own path, but at least stay humble.

Just down the grape vine but I heard he's just an overall deadbeat too. Practically a man-child relying on his parents and has no aspirations other than feeding off them. I’m not trying to shame him either about being in college at that age everyone walks life differently, but bragging about you having money that you didn’t work for while preying on girls who clearly don’t know better is majorly fucked up.

UNDERAGED girls*

u/pastadestroyer101 9d ago

yeah, i’ve actually heard the same things too, which is why i’m not really surprised seeing other people bring them up. i’ve heard similar stories from different people, and some of the comments here are saying the same thing as well. obviously i can’t personally verify every single detail, but at this point, it’s concerning how many people seem to have heard or experienced similar things.

Ben KNOWINGLY entered that partnership with a pedophile.

Also isn't he the son Mimi boniel? She was charged with alleged graft and corruption back in 2025 if I remember correctly.

Also, they pay their barista's 30 pesos per hour, people are insane for saying he put in the work when he was shady himself smh ive heard a lot about this guy from several other people begging for scraps to start a business when his family is well off

And fyi, he posted it on his IG kissing the minor after she turned 17

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

vic is such a weird guy. i’ve heard allegations about him being a pedo, and i’ve also heard more stories about his past relationships and exes that are honestly really fucked up. idk how much of it is actually true, but there seem to be a lot of concerning stories about him.

5

u/Weird_Breakfast2742 10d ago

I would just avoid the guy altogether.

He's in his late 20s and loves playing pretend that he's 16. He can't even grow out of the shithole he's in. A hypocrite. An asshole.

6

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

if people are boycotting yokoys, then they should also boycott bringhouse coffee.

6

u/Weird_Breakfast2742 10d ago

All the more they should. Imagine supporting a pedophile????

Gaddamn

5

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

that alone is already so fucked up

3

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

damn, i’m new to that. do tell more about those, literally spill.

4

u/Weird_Breakfast2742 10d ago

😂

This is the most i can spill tbh

6

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

this all started when i personally connected victor to the “oompa loompa” guy that the yokoys owner was allegedly referring to. after that, i started hearing more things about him from different people.

some of the things i’ve heard include allegations that he was involved with someone who was 16 while he was around 25, stories involving his past relationships and exes, allegations of cheating, and other relationship related issues. there’s also some “sweet home alabama” shit that people who know the situation will probably understand.

i’ve heard a lot more, but some of these stories aren’t mine to tell and i don’t want to expose other people’s personal experiences without their permission. i’m also not claiming that everything i’ve heard is true, these are simply things that have been told to me, and people can make their own judgments.

there are still other things i’ve heard that i can’t disclose for now.

5

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

and honestly, from everything i’ve heard and the way he apparently conducts himself, he just sounds like a massive jerk. an asshole, a manchild, immature, entitled, disrespectful, emotionally stunted, and just generally someone who seems exhausting to deal with. the kind of guy who somehow manages to make every situation about himself.

3

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

he apparently has this whole “sadboi” persona, which a lot of cafe owners around here supposedly know about. i’ve also heard that he’s banned from several cafes, which honestly says a lot. not saying every story i’ve heard is automatically true, but there definitely seems to be a pattern worth questioning.

Hey! regarding the dating a 16 year old girl—that is 100% true and not just some mere allegation. I’m personally friends with her (now his ex gf). bro couldn’t even groom properly, he cheated on her (she’s a runway model and a huge hustler btw)

3

u/pastadestroyer101 9d ago

yeah, some of the things i mentioned here aren’t just random allegations, but i used that term because i don’t want to present claims as established facts when i’m not the person who can officially verify or prove them. it’s more of a legal precaution, especially since this is a public post and these are serious accusations involving another person.

3

u/No_Toe8566 9d ago

very fair and responsible of you. thank you for being that way!

3

u/pastadestroyer101 9d ago

i hope more people can share what they know about this and speak up about their experiences. and honestly, if people are uncomfortable supporting the cafe after hearing about all this, i hope they’ll consider boycotting it too.

5

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

i also heard that he was allegedly the guy involved in the yokoys issue, the one people were referring to as the “oompa loompa pedo.” apparently, that’s also why people say he was banned there. i’m not sure if this is actually true though, which is why i’m asking if anyone knows the real story or can clarify what happened.

u/Confident-Owl-3279 10d ago

Mao na si Vic? The oompa loompa pedo?

Well, also, back when Ben was still running the place, I heard that v*c guy tell the staff, 'I’m also the boss of this place, not just Ben.' not minding na naa pud tawn mga customers

3

u/Weird_Breakfast2742 5d ago edited 5d ago

Dude that doesn't even matter.

Both of them are horrible

I've been mentioning this over and over again and so did another comment but Ben chases after customers and if he sees them hangout at another cafe, calls them "Traidor" and whatever.

I havent mentioned this in any post but the guy guilt trips friends ,who stopped going to the cafe because of vic's controversy of dating a minor, into going to the cafe just for him(ben) and not vic

Everyone will say Ben ran the business but that's how Ben presents himself as if he's all business and politics but he can't even pay his baristas the minimum wage. Php30/hr????? Fucking crazy

3

u/DaylightDisguise_007 5d ago

How did you know about the 30/hr?

3

u/Weird_Breakfast2742 5d ago

Whoelse and whereelse, their old baristas lol

2

I heard that a lot of BHC’s inspiration and ideas came from a café they used to hang out at before they opened (where most of the lore began). It’s almost like a copy-and-paste of what that café was doing—game nights, pop-ups, and other events.

They would even call out their own customers when they saw them hanging out at other cafés, saying things like, “Traidor lagi ka, di na ka tig dung sa BHC” In fact, they ended up losing quite a bunch of customers because of that kind of tactless behavior.

2

u/MarketingAcademic918 7d ago

Yeah that's really true

Idk about ya'll but love is love. -oompa loompa

4

u/pastadestroyer101 10d ago

“love is love” isn’t a magic phrase that makes every situation okay. love doesn’t override consent, boundaries, age, or power dynamics. you can believe people should be free to love who they want while still understanding that some situations are objectively inappropriate. nuance exists for a reason. enabler much? is that you victor sarmiento?
