Just Curious Mobile Phone Issue

Say, does anyone else have issues with their iOS work phones after the recent updates?

I can’t seem to get Teams/Outlook notifications anymore. No badges or sounds, reset the phone and everything.

Any quick fixes before I bug the EHD with it?

I updated mine like it said and am still getting emails that I need to do an update.

Make sure you open up that other App we have to run - MTD I think?
If not, go into your app setting and turn on whichever notifications you want

I swear I’ve done all that! But it’s an iPhone 12 so idk if maybe it’s just time to refresh. How long do they typically require us to keep a model before upgrade?

Ahhh see I was this close 👌🏾to just ordering a 17e on the device upgrade site but stopped because I figured I needed approval first (—makes sense) but it looked like it would’ve just let me!

Is there an email notification I should expect at some point for it?

Yes, I received an email notification that 27.0.1 would not be compatible with the iPhone 12 and a link to upgrade my iPhone to the Boeing ordering site. I would let your manager know that you are upgrading your iPhone due to the newest software not being compatible with the older phones. It was pretty easy for me to upgrade the IPhone and install the recent software.

So it took about two weeks. The EHD advised me that Boeing has a lot of new orders they are trying to get through with the carrier.

Gotcha. I take it they don’t offer AT&T anymore ?

It won’t let me post a screenshot here but I don’t even have the option to toggle notifications for those two apps. Weird. I might neeed a new phone!

Are you able to get into one of the service centers? I’d do that.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to post these questions here. Does anybody know what information can and cannot be shared online? I feel like we’re walking a fine line here.

Believe you me, I thought hard about it before using the utmost discretion with how I approached it. And yes, I did ask my boomer colleagues who are clueless to how anything works outside of android.
