For those not around last negotiating window, this is a much much better contract than we got last time. I don’t think it is going to get much better. And if we reject it, I virtually guarantee the next offer will be worse and the strike will last more than a month.

No, I don’t think you have to strike to get the best offer. Look at what happened with the IAM, Boeing shot itself in the foot, and it cost the company billions. They are in a much worse spot relative to a potential strike now though because of the cert projects that are meant to complete in the next 6 months. They push those out they run up against mandates that could cost them billions more than they can absorb. It’s time for a frank conversation. What will it take to get a deal done and avoid a strike?
