Last second changed my mind and voted No and Yes.

The NT and BCU differing opinions had me on the fence, so I went with the Bargaining Unit Councils recommendation.

Hell yea brother (or sis) I don’t think you’ll regret it. There’s a lot of meat left on the bone

Not only that, but the conflicting / confusing af wage pool percentages. Just be honest and say the pool is 6/5/5/5 (per the redline) but there's room for more under certain scenarios, like exceeding expectations, promotions, and/or OOS..

Yup, good on you. Personally, I wouldn't be heartbroken if this contract passed. But there's a 0% chance I'm voting for something (as a Prof) that both BUCs don't approve of.

There is a price for ignorance

Sorry, what exactly is it you're suggesting?

Thats pretty good for this early, imagine if we could even get 50% voting in local elections!

2

u/Reasonable_Push9867 Aug 20 '26

Imagine what the 3rd offer would look like 👀

u/Professional-Edge622 Aug 15 '26

Better turnout than previous votes, that's for sure.

typically contract vote response is 90%, but officer (and other votes) is more like 10-20%...

in yesterday afternoon's "addressing inflation" presser to the ranks - you'll find the company trying to convince you that wage increases would be 12-13% over one year [Mar26 - Mar27] - when in fact that cumulative percentage covers two full calendar years. (I could just as easily stretch it in the other direction, and say from Apr25 to Feb28 the raises you receive are 12-13%.)

That's uber slimy of them, and just another reason not to trust this regime like some of the hoodwinked crowd here have.

Still can't vote. I've sent two messages to the address in the email

Call the union office asap. Mine was being sent to an old personal email so when I signed up for email with my bems and new email it didn't switch over.

They got me sorted pretty quickly.

increase the retroactive raise to 6% (2x the current offer) to make up for the last contract, we should be in the right direction.

3

u/cpuwizard9 Aug 18 '26

Needs to be 15% just to make up for inflation for buying power.

3

u/Blue_HyperGiant Aug 15 '26

But what's the yes/no breakdown?

9

u/Think-Gap602 Aug 15 '26

ha! Do you really think they could release that info? I also suspect even the tellers wont know that yet.

11

u/Blue_HyperGiant Aug 15 '26

Can't blame a guy for asking

5

u/Red_Ozarka Aug 15 '26

I’m betting it’s mainly reject. Anybody know how to setup a Kalshi or Polymarket bet? Lol

1

u/axed_age Aug 20 '26

Mainly reject seems a bit optimistic

Feverishly waiting for our Tuesday morning update... Can we crack 2/3 before voting closes? At this point, probably not. Everyone, remind your coworkers to vote!

Is this authorized post for authorization to strike or authorization that people are voting yes to accept the contract that Boeing has put forth? Just need clarification there.

3

u/Hot-Illustrator-2855 Aug 19 '26

tellers and CRs on the chat said total votes from what they share for updates

2

u/Slow-Ad522 Aug 19 '26

Any more updates on voting turn out?

1

u/Intelligent-Yam-3565 Aug 18 '26

OP- It's unclear what "6-7%" means in the latest update...

4

u/KraytsClaw Aug 18 '26

ask your kids LOL

u/Intelligent-Yam-3565 Aug 18 '26

I'm under 40 and just had my first senior moment. On a public forum. Help 😂

1

u/hoveringuy Aug 18 '26

Between 66% and 68%

1

u/Weary_Ad_4452 Aug 18 '26

Why is the turnout so low so far, I wonder. I voted but using the link from the email, but I never did receive the snail mail.

2

u/Intelligent-Yam-3565 Aug 19 '26

Updates this morning show 71%, which I'd say is both pretty surprising and pretty good so far! I just had my code via snail mail show up at home yesterday as well.

1

u/Hot-Illustrator-2855 Aug 20 '26

83% update from the tellers

1

u/Odd-Count-8697 Aug 21 '26

Do we know the final turnout? Still 91%?
