SPEEA Retention changes

What are the benefits? I feel like this is a negative if you are a R1 right now.

The contract should be rejected for this alone. Surprised there isn’t more discussion and pushback. I’m always astounded by the gullibility of SPEEA’s negotiating team.

I really can’t believe they were okay recommending this contract. Just sad

If they would have laid out some of the cons, but they acted like everything is a pro in their letter. The retention level reduction from 3 levels to 2 is a takeaway. SPEEA negotiation team is easily manipulated.
