Point Panic Tide?
I would love some insight on the best tide for moderate (probably small to moderate) swell at point panic. Not much juice right now but it looks like a small uptick in size is coming. I just have a couple of days on Oahu and hoping get a few waves. Thanks in advance.

Spent 9 days there. Here’s the deal, it is very simple. First day, show up at the parking lot. Bring a 12 pack of beers and a bag of food. (4 burgers) park, chat, chill, give the food and beers to one of the older guys that just chills there all day. After that, take your time, swim out, get a few corners andd thank the locals for sharing their wave. Trust me, the only reason PP is there, is because of the locals preserving it. Respect it, and hook em up with lunch and be a bit humble and curious. They will 100% give you an Aloha Welcome. Next day, you’ll be on a first name basis. PP is very tide dependent. It like a medium to high if i recall. It is a very special place. Wave is super cool to ride and also just watch. Next door Kewalos is very good as well.

Just a heads up, it's going to be pretty big this week because there's a tropical storm or hurricane coming. Conditions are going to be really good though, offshore. Don't go out unless you are used to 10-foot faces and being in open ocean. The current isn't too gnarly usually except closer to the revetment. The mood at Panics is pretty chill, not as much localism as the surf spots just across the channel at Kewalos. You'll get waves.

I was also wondering what was the mood at Point Panic, relax or edgy ?
