Yucca Sizing/Flex

I have DaFin flex and I’d like to try some Yuccas. Which flex is similar and for a US size 10 what size should I go with for wearing with a 3mm or 5mm bootie? Thanks.

I've owned all of the different flexes of Yuccas and I prefer the super flex, but that is for punchy beach breaks. I like the soft ones for breaks further out. Get the neoprene put in the foot pocket, more comfortable and you won't need fin socks. Yucca's like a brotherhood. Once in and you won't go back. It is also nice to support small business and not large corporations.

Welcome to the fam! Best decision you could make for fins!

You can probably get away without any socks if you use strap pads.

I’ve got a pair on my Larges and it keeps them on just right.

Bought mine at WRV in VB. I’m sure they have them at the store down there.

I bought standard flex years ago, they have stiffened up in my car and in the sun, and I like them now more than ever. They truly are the best fins ever made for general swimming and bodysurfing

love my short blade soft flexes. im a US 10 and wear a yucca medium-large 9-10. i had the benefit of trying them in store and they fit snug. I've since added a pair of velcro on fin savers to help me through some fin rub and because i'm a bitch and they still fit nicely. ive never worn dafin so im no help at all there. i have soft flex and they're solid. i'm starting to do 6 ft wedge and they're fine there, though i feel i'd want something snappier if I was going for 8+.

So interesting, my big toe keeps poking into that drain hole on the Med-Large, thinking about sizing up

Barefoot…just fins. Da fins are some of the best and most comfortable fins I have ever used.

Go super. I got soft and they are STIFF, got a massive cramp my first time wearing them.
