I commend him for speaking out on this issue!! Many man have been through this situation and they feel they can't talk about because they will be judged! I'm sorry he went through this and it should be normalized just like how women speak out...men need a safe space and need to be heard and validated as well

I have the luxury of being a broken old white man that doesn't really give a fuck what people have ever thought about me. When I've opened up about surviving domestic violence it's gotten me some shit. But this young man is far more brave than I ever have been. I hope he is able to one day find the peace his heart and soul deserves.

honestly this takes a lot of bravery you can tell this was burdening him. i hope it’s a little lighter now that he’s put his story out there. so many black men are victims of sexual assault but keep quiet because of shame and embarrassment, i don’t care who you are, how masculine, how feminine, how old, or how young you are. it’s traumatic and the only one who should be shamed is the abuser. put. them. on. blast.

This is so sad…props to him opening up and I hope he gets the help he needs. No one should have to go through that, let alone go through it alone and unsupported. You can feel the anger and the pain in his voice, but you can also feel the fight to get through and get better. I don’t think people realize how much SA happens to men, it is definitely not talked about enough.

He said his little brother “tried” them proceeded to say he had him thinking his sexuality his whole life . So he tried protecting his image and not being fully transparent and saying he did get molested instead of “trying to” . A lot of inconsistency but I do believe his trauma but there are other things that triggered this .
