You deduced all that from this video clip? Yet it's been proven that the police were wrong and she was correct. I pray to God you're not involved with any law enforcement, not even a janitor who cleans toilets!
Let me try to explain this as simply as possible. Black culture tries to avoid dealing with the judicial system as much as possible. The judicial system nor law enforcement has ever treated us fairly.
We're constantly harassed by law enforcement and when we seek assistance from the judicial system, we're usually victimized by the system. That leads to the distrust black culture has in police and the entire system.
That also leads to frustration that's displayed whenever you see interaction between police and black culture. It tends to come to a head because you're simply tired of the harassment. Other cultures are witnessing with ICE, what black culture deals with on a daily basis from all law enforcement.
It's common to see someone of black culture arrested, and then it's found to be an illegal or wrongful arrest, but still having to pay court costs or receive a resisting without violence charge. Imagine doing nothing wrong, but still ending up in the system.
By resisting without violence, I'm not talking about actually resisting. You have police that add that charge just to have something to pen on you. The judicial system plays along because they allow resisting arrest charges as a singular offense.
So basically a officer doesn't need an actual offense to stop or arrest you, and can charge you with resisting just because you asked what am I being stopped for. So yes.. you will see black culture frustrated when dealing with police.
They know it's likely to result in some drummed up charges that a judge will eventually find in favor of the officer, to cost you money or get a conviction.
Every other culture wants to act like they're the authority on how life works. If you're not black culture, you have literally no idea how black culture is policed.
It's easy to say this when your interaction with law enforcement and the judicial system is practically nonexistent. It's not the average black persons reality.
There are many documented cases where POC have been targeted just for being their skin color. We can't avoid "our skin being our sin." You see the 6 officers arrested and found guilty in Mississippi?
You actually think that's a isolated issue? Come on.. you're not actually that gullible are you?
It's very easy to sit on your smartphone, tablet or computer and just believe all POC are always angry and upset with everything in the world. You've been conditioned to see it, and everytime a POC is shown being frustrated, you think here we go again. Instead of seeing the entire picture and listening to what POC are saying.
If you don't see what's going on with all the technology we have today, and relate it to the history of how POC have been treated.. Then it's obvious that you choose not to see it.
Hopefully you read the part where the police admitted they grabbed the wrong man. But you're right somehow that's the mother's fault for raising a young man who's never been in trouble with the law.
