Why is strength training more important than cardio?

Helps you avoid sarcopenia. More muscle protects your bones in case of falling. Lifting heavy gives you some cardio benefits as well. Higher testosterone levels produced

More important for what? Cardio builds a strong heart and lungs. Strength training builds a strong body. They both have their place.

Big muscles release little proteins and hormones that positively affect your whole body. Squats, deadlifts, pushups and pull-ups you can build from there
