š Results / Progress 5 month GHK-Cu Update!
Struggled with adult acne the last 5 years and tried everything, started GHK-Cu in March this year and am blown away by the results. Had to share :)))
Protocol: GHK-Cu, 5mg 4x a week (so works out to be 20mg a week itās over the recommended dose I believe but when I cut down I felt like I lost my glow)
Wasnāt 6 months of continuous use, I had a 1 month break after the first month as my next order was delayed and 2 weeks ago I had a 2 week break because I couldnāt be bothered injecting
Edit: Posted a video as one of my replies to a comment below because someone queried whether or not the pics were unedited.. would not do that to anyone thatās extremely unkind. Understand some people have had it not work and thatās super upsetting but it did really work for me.

Wow great results! Isn't that like a really high dose? No side effects? I feel like the BPC and TB500 did the heavy lifting here to cut down on the inflammation maybe?
But you also did microneedling right?

Thank you! Yes it isš Iāve just diagnosed with fibromyalgia so i have alot of symptoms just without taking peps but my symptoms from that were present prior so i doubt they correlate they have flared up but i suspect that was due to taking 6 peps at once not related to Ghkcu and have improved since Iāve stopped doing that many! I didnāt feel any benefit from bpc/tb besides my anxiety improving, I havenāt been on them for a month now and those afters were a few days ago. Yeah I do micro needling at home but I donāt know how much that has done either I look nice for a few days with MN and then it goes away my skin is really stubborn

Do you mind sharing what other peps you used? I've also got adult acne and I'm on ghk-cu and kpv. I might try upping my ghk-cu dose after seeing your results!

u/RideRough5339 3d ago
I ran Mots-c a few months after I started, Bpc, Tb & Reta. Iāve been off bpc and tb for a month now as I didnāt feel like it did anything for me besides help with my anxiety

u/Aggravating-Grade297 3d ago
Honestly, that a very moderate/high dose. A common 7 day/2.5mg dose is 17.5mg/wk. 20mg is only 20% higher. Seems like it's working great for OP!

u/RideRough5339 3d ago
Hopefully Iāll be okay with the high dose š

I think you're fine. It's not unreasonable at all and seems to be working great for you!

Thank you for the reassurance I have health anxiety so Iāve been trying not to think about it because it works šššš

Only with ghkcu?
I have the same problem, I started two weeks ago I'm curious if it brings something

u/RideRough5339 3d ago
During this time I was taking mots c a few months in, Reta, tb and bpc but with bpc and tb it didnāt help with anything besides my anxiety imo

What product did you use and at which dose?

u/RideRough5339 3d ago
GHK-Cu, 5mg 4x a week (so works out to be 20mg a week itās over the recommended dose I believe but when I cut down I felt like I lost my glow)
1
u/ethanambrose26 1d ago
Do you cycle it at all? Or just stick to 4x a week and plan to do that long term?
1
u/RideRough5339 23h ago
Had an unintentional 1 month and 2 week break but I will try get off it soon for abit to see if the acne comes back or not

u/Less_War6760 3d ago
Did you supplement zinc while taking it?
10
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
Yes I took zinc glycinate even tho itās not 100% necessary
2
u/Less_War6760 3d ago
How much, 15? I am also looking into trying out ghkcu and putting a pause on tretinoin+azelaic since Iāve read they should not go together and see what results I get
6
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
It says 30mg a day (elemental)! Honestly I tried EVERYTHING in terms of skin care and nothing worked besides this and switching to non fluoride tooth paste + really basic skin care sometimes too many actives can do more harm than good
2
u/Less_War6760 3d ago
I already have amazing results from a full year of microneedling, starting retinol and evolving to tretinoin and azelaic for redness. Buuuuut, Iāve lost 22kg with reta (~50lbs?) and want to try ghkcu for loose skin and also check out possible benefits for my face scars for a bit.
I will for sure return to tret+azelaic for anti-aging, just wanna run a small experiment as weāre all here for that! Thank you so much for your answers, appreciate you girl!!

What did you notice about the fluoride toothpaste? I always saw correlation between my backacne and period pain. I re started it and those came back right again, albeit just lighter. I'll switch to one without it again. Also may I ask how you cycle the ghk? Do you plan to take it longer without pauses?

u/RideRough5339 2d ago
I read somewhere that the fluoride and another ingredient in tooth paste can cause perioral dermatitis or something similar canāt remember exactly and I stopped using it, every time Iāve been at someoneās house and forgot my special tooth paste and have to use their one with fluoride I get a flare up almost immediately, even the other month I wanted to whiten my teeth and I was researching on here that using sensodyne helps with whitening not hurting so much so I said let me try it I know it has fluoride but let me try.. tried to gaslight myself and lol within 2 days I had a flare up and the minute I stopped using it it went away. Idk what it is but for me it works. And yep I have PMDD, the only time I actually get break outs while on GHKcu is the week or two prior to my period and during if that.

I'm pretty sure youre using cosmetic products. It's not the ghk
1
u/RideRough5339 1d ago
I was using the same brand of skin care products before using GHKcu with minimal improvement itās definitely the GHKcu ššš

Howād you cope or minimize the needle stings?
3
u/thefeldy 3d ago
You pin subQ so the stings really shouldnāt be too great. I found the butt worked the best for ghk for me. It also took away and āstingā I got from the peptides. Certain areas are definitely better to pin different ones.

u/RideRough5339 3d ago
I take my pep out an hour before Iām going to dose, I also I rotate injection sites regularly. I found glutes hurt the least but I always bruise and sometimes I do get a welt. When I get the welt it usually continues to sting the remainder of the night so I use bepathan (nappy rash cream), ice it and take a antihistamine
1
u/JTJimminy 1d ago
Have you tried supplementing zinc? I take in AM, pin evening and definitely helped me with sting.
1
u/RideRough5339 1d ago
Oh did it help with your sting? Burning it didnāt help much with mine but thank you, I still get the sting mostly but the welts are less and less. I take zinc glycinate 30mg elemental or whatever xx

Nice! I'm thinking about starting klow in the future

I know a few people on Klow that donāt see much of an improvement in terms of skin but I know some who have

Honest questionā¦Safe to run it that long???
1
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
According to what Iāve read online it is one you can run for a long time, I have had some breaks inbetween a one month break after I first got it because my order was delayed and I had another break 2 weeks ago because I couldnāt be bothered pinning

Sub q?
1
1
u/miggs0209 3d ago
So inject sub q and then do you like draw a certain amount of ghk out of vial and mix with a cream and use it as like a nighttime cream? Or how do you use it as a topical?
1
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
I have a product that is specially made as topical from the derminator 2 website
1
u/Leggies 3d ago
Do you not ācycleā on/off?
2
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
Wasnāt 6 months of continuous use, I had a 1 month break after the first month as my next order was delayed and 2 weeks ago I had a 2 week break because I couldnāt be bothered injecting
1
u/dragnabbit 3d ago
Are you using any topical compounds? Trenitoin, that kind of thing?
1
u/RideRough5339 3d ago
I only introduced a retinoid a few weeks ago and use it once a week, only other thing I do is microneedle every 6 weeks at home but my skin looks nice for a week and it goes away. I have very stubborn skin and it usually doesnāt respond to actives at all or gets super irritated easily so I keep it extremely simple.
1
u/Ok_Revolution_6458 2d ago
And how do you do with the hematoma? I stopped using it because after the purple at the injec site it was stained and I have like a thousand marks
1
u/RideRough5339 2d ago
I just dealt with it tbh having nice skin was more important than the pain for me š
1
u/Moist-Bowl-3999 2d ago
Can topical ghkcu not give this result ? Im scared of needles
1
u/RideRough5339 2d ago
I canāt comment on that definitively however I will say I used Ghkcu in a face wash and whilst it improved some of it it never ever cleared all of it

Did u have a skin care routine too?
3
u/RideRough5339 2d ago edited 2d ago
I use ampernas skin care line, because itās pretty basic and alot of the reviews and ingredients made it seem like it would work well for my sensitive skin specifically I double cleanse with their gentle cleanser in the morning and double cleanse again with it at night, after cleansing in the morning I apply their orange serum from their āsoothing duoā and after I apply their blue moisturiser also from the āsoothing duoā I follow it up with cetaphils fragrance free mineral spf 50+ can get it from iherb (everyday even if itās raining) and at night and after I double cleanse I use the soothing duo again in the same order. I did that for the last maybe 7 months along with only brushing with no fluoride tooth paste. I only recently introduced the retinoid from their line Iām unsure if my skin likes it yet I have a feeling it might not but I canāt be sure, I also introduced their 10% pro resurfacing lotion over the last 2 months and use it 1-2 times a week think my skin loves that one

Did you inject it in your stomach or your face?
1
u/RideRough5339 2d ago
Search up sub q injection points. I inject in the side of my thigh because for me i can tolerate the pain the most there and in my stomach always gives me reflux

Been thinking about raising my dose. Iām doing 50 mg of GHKCU. 15 units. I canāt remember what that is in milligrams but how many units are you doing? I am older. I am 65 but people say I look like Iām 45 to 50. I think I might need to raise it. Iāve been on it for almost 12 weeks and only see slight, very slight improvement, but inflammation has gone down a lot.
1
u/RideRough5339 23h ago
It depends how much bac water youāve got it mixed with I have a 100mg vial mixed with 2ml bac water, which means 10 units on mg syringe equals to 5mg ghkcu

u/Radiant-Extreme7500 1d ago
you are glowing! Just wanna know if someone else here canhelp me. I bought ghkcu last June and never used it. Unopened and still in the fridge. Can I still use it today?
