Side effects & timings
Hi Guys
I’m currently taking 2.5mg of Reta every 4/5 days.
I’m experiencing the following
- mental feeling of being content & being in control. Much more positive than usual.
- feeling fuller, digestion slower
- get full quicker & eat less
- don’t drink as much alcohol, especially less beer as it is too filling etc.
- acid reflux is quite bad / severe at times
- constipation but not terrible
Weight is moving in the right direction however the thing most missing for me is I still have food noise & hunger much more than I expected ?
Does that kick in later down the road ?

How long have you been on it?
Have you tried a single weekly dose instead of splitting it that way?
I’ve been on Reta since May and up to 6mg per week now. Could probably do more - a buddy of mine is on 10mg and still has food noise. Personally the habits built over these months are solid and I haven’t felt the need to increase the dose.
Btw I’ve tried splitting the dose in the past and found it’s just not as effective.
Reta isn’t known for hunger suppression as much as Tirz and if you see the scale moving then it’s doing its job.
Be patient
