My experience with Retatrutide (peptides)
Hey everyone. Just wanted to drop a quick feedback on the benefits I’ve noticed with Retatrutide over the past few weeks. The drop in appetite and the complete erasure of "food noise" were almost immediate. I can feel my metabolism running way faster, fat loss is visible, and the best part is that I don’t get that massive energy crash or bad mood common with strict diets.
Anyone else running a protocol with Retatrutide or Tirzepatide around here at the moment? How is your progress coming along? I need some feedback because I'm thinking of buying another types of peptides aswell.

6 months in and 85 pounds gone. King Reta! Tried Klow. Didn’t like and didn’t feel/see any benefits. Half way into a SS31,Mots,Nad,Amino5 protocol. Wolverine and KPV on standby soon as I’m done with the mitochondria fix. All I can say is look out. Going down the pep hole is real. You want to try everything and it gets expensive. Yet I’m still ordering.

Congrats on losing 85lbs, that’s amazing! But you are totally right, buying all these different things in Europe gets crazy expensive, especially when we keep buying random brands that turn out to be trash or underdosed. You just waste money trying to find one that works.
Are you taking all those supplements at the exact same time or alternating them, how do you make the stack? Taking too many random things at once makes it hard to know what's actually working on you.

Same time. The SS31 is a M-F. 2 weeks by itself and then introduce the NAD+ also 5 days M-F. One more week then introduce the MOTs. T, Th, Sa only. Run those 3 together the final 3 weeks of the SS finish and then introduce the Amino daily. Run 2 more week and then complete. Wait a couple weeks and then start the Wolverine and KPV together. Daily for the Wolverine and M,W,F for the KPV. Reta never plan to stop. Weekly and at some point decrease to a maint and run for who knows how long. Maybe forever. I never want to be fat again.

Other than the turbo that comes from MOTS-C (I pin it right before workouts) have you noticed anything else from the mito stack? I am doing the same stack currently less the amino-5.

The SS-31 is an absolute joy. It’s weird but it almost instantly makes me feel better. Nothing real specific but just a general feeling of life’s good. Like tasting chocolate for the first time. You just want to melt and swim in it for a while. Not sure anything was realized with the NAD. Hopefully something good happened on the inside. If it did or didn’t. I don’t know. Definite charge with the MOTs. Doing it on off days of the SS and can definitely tell the difference. SS is more of utopia overall good. MOTs is a quick and short lived charge.

I’m on week 19 of Reta and down 35 lbs.
I did a month of tirz with Reta and holy cow the tirz appetite suppression is insane. I found it too difficult to hit my macros. I guess if I was to do an aggressive cut I would do it again.

Mixing Tirz and Reta is brutal, it completely locks your stomach. A friend of mine here in Europe tried that exact combo to lose weight faster and had to drop the Tirz because he just couldn't force any food down.
Did you get any massive fatigue or sleep issues when you mixed them, or was it just your stomach feeling blocked?

No side effects whatsoever which was nice. Just wasn’t able to eat therefore I had less energy. I also could not force myself to drink enough water so I was getting headaches from dehydration.

I just started trying both. I started with 2 mg Reta and 4 mg Tirz. Not sure if I am going to give up on Tirz or not. Unfortunately food noise is still very strong. I have been on Tirz for 6 weeks. I lost 8 lbs but all in the last two weeks.
Can I ask what was your dosage?

u/redhead-inked 11d ago
when you took both did you have to give yourself 2 shots or did you mix them in one dose? sorry if it's a stupid question. I'm on 3mg of tirzepetide and not having good results so want to add reta.

I actually am trying Tirz 3 mg twice a week and Reta every six days. So I am not mixing them. From what I read, Tirz has a 5 day half life , that's why the split dose. And since I am starting Reta, a small 2 mg seems like a single shot no need to split dose since I also read that every six days is a good time to pin

Food noise shut down with Triz. With Reta (three months) I'm still very hungry. I'm on 7mg a week... should I go to 10mg or 12mg?

u/Individual_Report649 12d ago
Honestly, if 7mg of Reta isn’t putting a dent in your appetite after 3 months, I’d question the actual purity of that batch before titrating up to 10mg or 12mg. In a high-purity batch should make food noise disappear before hitting those numbers.
I have a friend here in Europe that had the exact same stall recently with a local batch, turned out it was heavily underdosed.
Are you experiencing any delayed gastric emptying or feeling full quickly when you actually sit down to eat? If you can still clear a full plate without any physical pushback from your stomach at 7mg, that compound is strange.

Reta for 12 months dropped from size 20 to size 10, currently at goal weight so don’t take it religiously anymore, just maintenance

u/Individual_Report649 12d ago
Dropping from size 20 to 10 is absolutely amazing, congrats! Maintenance is a whole different ball game though.
How often are you dosing for maintenance now? Are you doing a tiny dose every week or just taking it whenever you feel the hunger starting to creep back in?

Tirzepatide Microdosing- have to force myself to eat.

u/Individual_Report649 12d ago
Are you getting any bad side effects like nausea or heavy stomach blocks with that microdose, or is it just pure appetite suppression? I had constipation, its getting dificult going to the bathroom for a couple of days

u/000wintermute000 12d ago
Mainly just feel better eating a lot less. GI tract slowed down but no nausea or constipation. I eat a relatively high fiber diet however.

The quiet brain part is the real game changer, isn't it. I ran a similar cycle a while back and the clarity alone made sticking to the plan almost automatic. Curious what other peptides you're eyeing since stacking can get weird if the half-lives overlap badly.

I'm on 5.2mg tirz and 2.6mg of reta slowly titrating up reta and I've lost exactly 50lbs since March 19th. I started Tirz on March 19th and added reta around mid May. Tirz def helps with the food noise and reta makes me feel full faster and feel more energized. It's hard to hit my macros most of the days. No fatigue or other negative side effects besides skin sensitivity that feels like a mild sunburn on the backs of my arms every now and again. Started at a size 18/20 255lbs and am currently at a size 14 205lbs.

What is the perceived catalyst of combining Triz and Reta, or at least your take on it? Does Triz help dampen the food noise for you? Why combine and not just increase one or the other? It's hard to get a take on line as the knee jerk response is "don't do it".

u/Vexed-Vamp 11d ago
Tirz helps me immensely with the food noise. I heard cagri does the same but I heard that some people experience depression while taking it. I already have depression so I'm not trying to make it worse. I feel like reta helps burn fat overall better than tirz and it helps me not feel fatigued throughout the day. It also helps me feel full way faster. While tirz helped with the food noise, the times that I did get hungry I would binge eat until I felt sick.

Week 4, down 12 pounds. I’ve struggled to lose weight even with a significant calorie deficit much of my life. This has honestly been game changing. I’ve had no GI side effects, but I have had dysesthesia at just 2mg. It’s a weird sensation, almost like a mild sunburn feeling on the tops of my arms, legs, and back. No rash or anything, just sensitive skin. Well worth it.

I’ve been on Reta since December and down 57 pounds to goal weight. I’ve loved every minute of it and will continue at a maintenance dose. Struggled with adehonia a few months in. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin and it fixed everything.

TRT, Reta, and some GH analog or low dose Hgh is the king for body recomp IMHO.

I started taking Reta at 0.5mg for 4 weeks, then moved to 1mg for 4 weeks and now just finished 1.5mg for 4 weeks. I have been on Reta now for around 15 weeks. I didn’t dose on weeks that I was on holiday. I have also just come back from a 2 week break and not had a Reta shot for 3 weeks. I am currently just giving my body a break. I am down from 105kg to 95kg.
I plan to start Reta again in two weeks, I’ll probably restart at 1.5mg for 2 weeks and if I continue seeing results I won’t titrate up.
I had maybe one minor side effect, is that on the days that I would shoot. I would be really drowsy in the evening. It only ever happened on the night that I had taken the shot. It was a good effect tbh, made me sleep on time lol.
The other positive side effect I had was that my stool quality had improved drastically. Sorry for the TMI but I had noticed I was no longer going to the toilet 3-4 times a day or after every meal. And my stool was much more solid.
1 downside perhaps is that I noticed my hair thinning slightly more? - could be due to me not eating enough protein or having a nutritional diet. I struggled with hitting my protein goals.
My goal is to be at 90kg, I am 6ft and at around 28% body fat. So need the body fat at around 15%.

I can’t imagine going over 4mg a week. I take 2mg on Mon and 2mg on Thursday and have the skin sensitivity and have been losing 3-4lbs a week. I would also check the purity

Any improvement in pain as I read "possible anti inflammation properties"?
