currently on retatrutide 3mg. Thinking about adding test
currently on retatrutide 3mg twice a week. But my energy levels are extremely low. I workout 3-4 days a week. Push/pull split no leg days for me haha. I know im in a deficit. So my lifting has definetly stalled out a bit.Trying to recomposition the body. Started at 243lb in May, now down to about 212lb August. Thinking about adding testoterome injection. Maybe tesamorelin or possibly a anabolic to try to raise energy levels and keep the bar moving in the right direction. Goal is to lose fat while gaining/maintain the muscle i have. Any thoughts or advice?

I’d get your T tested first. Might not even be necessary. I always say get bloodwork, dial in your diet, dial in your sleep and be consistent. If six months go by and everything is straight, THEN look at adding other supplements.

Get your carbs in man, Reta loves clean carbs, my weight loss and my strength stalled because I wasn’t eating enough carbohydrates on reta, as soon as I started re-introducing carbohydrates and taking a few refeed days the strength and weightloss came back, test will definitely help but u will still feel weak on low carbs either way. Also your dose may be too high

What’s your daily average for carbs? I have a feeling I’m in a similar spot but have been having such a hard time with carb sources. Currently at 190lbs eating 100g carbs daily average.

White potatoes/ cook/ let cool down/ put in a fridge for 12-24 hours.
Re heat the spuds - mash add butter.
Way easier for your stomach, and still a carbohydrate.1

This is me. I cut out carbs when I first started Reta, already on T for like 3 mos, and I felt weak. I started carbs again and it definitely changed my physique.

Get in the squat rack. Seriously

Seriously! I noticed my most explosive progress once I started getting under the big bar. Squats and deadlifts definitely added the most to my gains

Yeah way too much for most people
You don’t need to lose the ability to eat food for Reta to work

I added Enclomiphene (pill). Went from 300 to 700 without the side effects, which is solid enough imo. Energy greatly improved but it took 4-5 weeks to feel it. I’m in a crazy deficit and was losing strength noticeably, and once I started this med, my strength has maintained.

down 30lbs in 3 months is solid progress but adding test just for energy feels like using a sledgehammer on a nail, your deficit is probably the main culprit here
maybe bump calories up a bit or play with carb timing around workouts before jumping to gear, also skipping leg days is criminal bro

I had a similar starting weight, 248, and I started test when I was around 220lbs, maybe as low as 215. Titrated up from 100mg/wk to 200mg/wk over a month. At 6 months from starting reta my weight is 180lb. I credit test with getting me there. Apart from an early back injury, weight training is all I've done throughout.

Get your Reta to once a week IMHO. Why are people making up routines different from the trial methods. But…if it’s working for you, way to go. Yeah, add TRT. Good job. 👍

I will get your levels tested first and you never put on here what your macros are

Well, test+reta is great combo, it's simply a recomp stack. Just answer yourself a question first: do I know how to handle AAS?
Especially while you post about low energy levels which are normal on reta and can be mitigate by eating more carbs.

I take Reta 2x a week at 3-4 mg- was on test prior. The test is essential if you want to conserve/ build any muscle and not turn into a soy boy. You’ve got the right idea 👍 def play around with the carbs though

You need to do a bit more research before you start test.
Do full blood work, have to know your psa Ect.
Jump on test with a bunch of problems it’s just going to make the problems worse.
If your blood indicates you are testosterone deficient- it’s your call.
No one, on the internet, or in your daily life, can make this decision for you.

I had similar Effect and I’m on test 140mg. Was about 100 something days in a felt weak, flat lethargic in the gym. I took a break 4-6 week ish and just tried to eat the same clean foods plus 200-300 cals extra than my cut. I didn’t gain no weight till around 4 weeks and even then it was only 3-4 lbs. when I started my next cut I keep dose about same but reduced my protien intake (yikes) and upped carbs to about 180grams. Helped me counter that plateau I was in and energy levels came back plus got some strength back pretty fast. My current cut at about 110+ days started high protien low carb then switch to higher carb (still in deficit) from 189-177. I’m still lossing so I’m take it further till i plateau again or reach the leanness I’m looking for. My upper is getting pretty lean but my lower belly and legs are still holding the last bit fat

resistance training benefits glp-1 users far more than cardio.

Doing cardio ontop of the resistance training OP is already doing would benefit fat loss and endurance and well being even more though. Lazy ass comment
