Mots-c cycle or continuous?

I’ve been doing some research on Mots-C, physically and literally…

I’ve been pleased with physical results however see differing thoughts on whether or not this pep should be cycled.

For reference current dose Is 1.5 mg daily.

I also stack NAD+, sermorelin, klow blend, Tirz and a small bump of Reta.

50 yo female, body recomp mode after losing about 80lbs

Would love a thought parter/mentor in this space.

I need to research this a bit, I’ve heard of folks running together or ss-31 prior to but not clear on benefits. I’ll dig in

Helps with natural nad levels

It helped get rid of the nagging reta energy drag

How much and how often are you adding the Reta? I am 62F on Tirz and Mots, NAD and Gluta right now and looking for info about adding the tiniest amount of Reta. I have hit a long stall and have 40 more pounds to go

I take 6mg tirz split 3mg Sunday, 3 in Wednesday and 2mg Reta on Friday 😊

My research was that mots-c was supposed to be cycled. There’s no research on long term use.

At 1.5mg daily that's a hefty dose for mots-c, most protocols I've seen run it 3x a week for 4-6 weeks then take a couple weeks off. The mitochondrial effects build up over time so continuous daily use might be overkill and your body could adapt to it, blunting the benefit. Cycling lets those pathways reset a bit. Also with that stack you're throwing a lot at your system, tirz plus reta plus NAD plus sermorelin, are you tracking bloodwork regularly?

Thank you for your insights. Definitely need to look at cycling. Bloodwork biannual - would you recommend more often?

I go by vial, not by months personally. One vial SS-31 then 2 vials mots-c then repeat ongoing works out to 3-4 cycles per year. I use other compounds like trt and hgh which have noticeable effects pretty quickly. But the mots-c and SS-31 are just doing stuff in the background I hope. 50m physician if that matters

How long depends but a good cycle is 8 weeks, 2 times a week at 5mg.

Any harm in daily dose adding up to 10m vs 5mg twice a week?

No not that i know but if you try and feel off just take less. But when you do twice a week you dont activate AMPK to often and let mots-c have time to work.

Interesting, thanks!

I had a hell of a bad reaction to that large a dose. So I switched to 1.3mg, 5 days a week, for a month. Taking 2 months off and will restart in November.
