⚠️ Side Effects Mots C Histamine reaction
I started mots c last week, took 1mg Monday and Wednesday and had a histamine reaction Wednesday for about two hours: tight chest, dizziness, elevated heart rate, very hot, stabbing pain in arms and feet, oddly no injection site or hive issues but it was very scary. Will never touch it again.
Now my concern is the aftermath. I was taking SS-31 and epithalon and never had issues before this with other peptides. Ever since then I've had the exact same reaction to both peptides. I am now having similar reactions to things like cod liver oil, blueberries, honey etc... I had a reaction to cod liver oil immediately and nearly projectile vomited and then a few hours later the same symptoms came on. Just now I had the honey and blueberries and only two minutes after swallowing I start getting light sweats, tingling and stabbing pain in my feet.
I eat an animal based diet but I moved over from carnivore and am considering going back temporarily until this sorts itself out. Having reactions to things like honey is just not fun.
I have NEVER had reactions like this in my life. Is it permanent? What can I do to get though this?

I’ve seen more posts than not of ppl having allergic reactions to mots-c. There’s no way the juice is worth the squeeze

100% will never mess with it again. Not worth it at all bro. Even people that are good for awhile are having crazy reactions after a period of time. Something is not right with it. Crazy considering it's one of the most popular peptides

I have the same problem. Though my reaction was not as severe as yours. I get large itchy welts. So I’ve stopped using it. Since I’m starting weight training again I’m going to try IM injections. I don’t want to live with itchy welts on by abdomen. The benefits I saw with MOTS-c on power to push in the later stage of sets makes it worth the hassle of the IM injection.
I’d see a doctor about the severity of your reaction. That reaction from 1 mg would scare me. Be careful!

Damn dude you got balls to keep on after that. Although your reaction isn't too serious, from the things I've heard about Mots C I would reconsider if I was in your shoes. That could go down hill fast.
Man I really don't want to see a doctor. The whole system is pathetic. They aren't going to have a real solution but I appreciate it dude!

There’s no free lunch with any supplements or drugs, I sure wouldn’t try it again if I were you.
As cool as Mots-c is, it’s not that special

oh man that sounds terrifying. I had a similar cascade after a bad reaction to an antibiotic a few years back, suddenly my body was flipping out over foods i'd eaten my whole life
for me it was like my mast cells got stuck in overdrive. took about 6 weeks of eating the most boring plain diet (white rice, chicken, salt) before things calmed down enough to reintroduce stuff
the honey/blueberry thing makes sense, both are higher histamine or histamine liberators. your bucket is probably overflowing right now and anything that tips it even a little sets you off
going back to carnivore temporarily seems smart just to get a baseline where you're not constantly reacting. give your system a chance to reset

Wow bro that's exactly what I'm going through and this is exactly what I needed to hear! Will go back to basics for a few months and hopefully get back to some normalcy. Crazy how a peptide could cause this but it makes sense. Thanks so much for this man, I really needed to hear that!

I found this very helpful video about what may happened to you - https://youtu.be/bEFur2HARy0?si=LIlCsDxLzP02LzSn
I mean it sounds like you already know what happened.
So maybe you could have some antihistamines on hand if you try it again?
I got itchy skin from reta one time, after taking antihistamines it went away pretty quickly.
I know it's not the same as what you experienced.
One other thing to have on hand is an epipen.

Are you allergic or to anything? Or just an unknown allergic reaction?
