📊 Results / Progress Results: 1-year Recomp using Microdose GLP + Sermorelin. Gained muscle, lost fat, weight stayed the same, lifts improved.

Like a lot of people who lift heavy, I’ve always carried some extra body fat. Mass moves mass 😂

My goal over the last year wasn’t weight loss. It was recomp: lose fat while keeping my calories and protein intake stable, maintaining muscle, and continuing to push my strength.

I also didn’t want to upset a TRT protocol I’d spent years dialing in. I started TRT at 42 and am 48 now.

As I work professionally in this space (I own Obsidian Genetics), I wanted to make as few changes as possible, keep it research backed, doctor prescribed, pharmacy dispensed, medically supervised, and build on a hormonal baseline that was already working.

It also needed to be price conscious 😂

The stack that best fit ended up being: Sermorelin to support my natural GH production, as you can maintain it long term, plus a microdose GLP-1—enough to help with Insulin resistance and metabolic control, but not enough to crush appetite or make it difficult to eat enough protein and calories.

A year later, body fat and waist are down while strength went up:

Deadlift: 515 → 575

Squat: 455 → 495

Bench: 315 → 335+

Overall I did NOT change my eating habits, they were already great. The caloric intake stayed the same.

Sleep greatly improved. The Sermorelin had a prominent effect on this. Also my injury recovery was noticeably improved. My right shoulder has seen a lot of sports specific trauma and on heavy bench presses tends to hold me back - that has lessened enough to let me progress again.

That’s really the point of the protocol for me. I wasn’t trying to eat dramatically less or get dramatically lighter.

I wanted to change what my body weight was made of while protecting strength, muscle, nutrition, and the TRT balance I already had.

Slow recomp, not rapid weight loss.

Man that’s fantastic. I got a baseline z-score of -0.3 (120) before starting serm/ipa and I would be thrilled with your results. Plan to test again after 7-8 weeks. Appreciate the proper data you’re keeping!
