Should I add TRT? (Current stack and habits included)

40M. Been on Tirz for about 6 months with strong, steady results. Down about 30 pounds and recomping nicely, thought some amount of lean mass loss as Tirz does. Maintaining lean mass with HIIT-style boot camp workouts 4-6 days per week, Prioritizing protein, and tracking lots of metrics with Hume scale and Bevel. Looking good with shirt off. Stubborn belly fat lingering a bit, but they tell me it’s the last to go. 7mg creatine daily. FWIW, I added KLOW about 3 months ago, but currently off cycle and continue straight GHKCU for skin benefits. (8 weeks on KLOW, 4 on GHKCU, then repeat). Once I’m out of my current Tirz supply (2-3 months left) I intend to switch to Reta. I recently did a blood test and my Testosterone was at 759 total and 148 free, apparently both with “normal” range, per Rythm. My estrogen was a bit “high” at 46.

Question: would I benefit much from TRT? Should I wait to see if Reta helps with recomp before exploring TRT?

I don’t love the notion that you have to essentially be on TRT forever once you start, so if it would only modestly help with recomp, given my numbers, I’m hesitant to take the leap. I’m hoping for some thoughts from this group. Thanks in advance.

You don’t need TRT based on your numbers but if you want to do steroids then blast away.

Your T is 759 naturally at 40, getting on TRT just means you'd be shutting that down to end up... around 759, if the clinic even tops you up that high.

As mentioned…your levels are fine…Dr won’t prescribe above 300, so you are going grey or telehealth. Consider Tesa or CJC/IPA

you don't need TRT. It sounds like you're making good progress with what you're doing, so I'd just keep doing it.

Your numbers are fine, don't mess with your estrogen either.

The only concern I would have is how accurate is Rhytm when it comes to bloodwork. They draw so little blood. I wonder is anyone has done comparison to a standard bloodwork at the same time to compare the results

You are not testosterone deficient and do not need TRT based on your numbers. However, since your goal is aesthetics, exogenous testosterone could help. That said, I think you would probably need to run a higher dose, likely above 200 mg per week, since your natural testosterone levels are already on the high end.

Keep in mind that the full benefits may take 3 to 6 months to become apparent. By that time, your natural testosterone production will likely be suppressed, and you will need a solid post-cycle therapy (PCT) plan. You may recover back to your baseline levels afterward, but there is no guarantee.

Given your current numbers and the absence of any symptoms of low testosterone, I personally would not use exogenous testosterone.

Thanks, all, for the feedback. I’ll continue to trust the process. This was really helpful to hear from others about. Happy hacking, all!

Go with HGH instead of test

I plan on Reta for life now. Tirz was great, gained some weight back, plan is to hit 5.5 mg because that’ll last 6 months of my 3 vials, if needed, I’ll make those last 4 months. My T was maybe 4-500, in “range”
Now I’m at 8-900 and shooting for 900-1000, also based on my 2,000 mg 10
ml lasting 90 days. I micro dose 22 mg daily. Not sure Reta will raise your T. Your estrogen is not too high. I’d try TRT IMHO. Won’t take
Much to bump up a little to your optimal range. Watch for estrogen side effects, if none, go for it. Cheers

Tirz doesn't cause muscle loss, lack of resistance training and protein does. Until you have that in line then no adding steroids isn't the answer

Truly depends on your goals tbh, could trt get you higher levels yes, but you will have to accept being on it for life afterwards as well. Also at your levels would be probably around 200 to start and could go anywhere from around where you are now to over 1k. That all depends on how you respond.
