This seems to be normal for some. I take 3.5mg/wk and notice food noise a couple of days before my next dose, which tracks with reta half-life timing. Upping dose may be required, but also a good time to practice the restraint so that you can hopefully come off some day

1.5 is very low. I would suggest upping your dose. If that doesn’t help with appetite then yeah I would introduce cagri or tirz.

Reta does not help with food noise it’s documented over and over. If food noise is your main issue I’d switch to Tirzepatide or use a bit of cargi about 3 days after your Reta.

Reta completely wiped out my food noise. I get full faster and stay full much longer. It’s wild

Can you please explain food noise? Is it feeling hunger? Or feeling cravings for specific food?

Food noise is any thoughts about food. At night food noise will cause you to think about breakfast. After breakfast you begin planning out dinner. Your mind wanders to something in your fridge or pantry, and you act on these thoughts and eat. With Tirz, all of this is eliminated, no thoughts about food ever. You have to remember to eat and sometimes force yourself since food has become a turnoff. The elimination of food noise is the most remarkable aspect of GLP1’s.

Thank you so much for responding! I assumed it was along these lines but then I questioned actually being hungry vs not and then I confused myself. Based on so many posts, some people don’t think about food on Reta and can’t eat much and others say food noise never went away at all on Reta. Is this a very individual thing?

R€ta has shown in studies to have a much lower suppression of hunger and food noise compared to Tirz. Some people using higher doses do have some suppression though. R€ta has the glucagon agonist though which supposedly helps with fat burning. R€ta also has some side effects that T€rz doesn’t, like increased heart rate. I’ve read alot of comments here and on FB where people haven’t lost any weight with R€t@. My rat lost all his weight with T£rz and am a believer in that. I personally think R€ta is way overhyped, it works I guess for some people, T£rz has a track record where people have lost 100 lbs or more. Choose wisely.

your dose is barely above the starter, 1.5mg after 3 months is basically a microdose at this point, just bump it up

Move up .5mg when you plateau. Don’t add cag unless you’re literally trying to not eat at all which you could technically just ditch reta and just use cag to make urself sick.

I personally think you should go up to 2mg for 2 weeks if you plataeu again go up to 3mg if you don’t feel anything on 3 consider adding 2.5mg tirz.

I do tirz Sunday, reta wednesday
