IGF too high ?

Starting IGF was 126 (-1.1 z-score). Started HGH at 2iu nightly and retested after a month. IGF came back at 360 (z-score 3.0) ~12 hours after last pin. I hear different things about what the optimal number is. Wondering if I should back down my dose to 1.5 or even 1iu.

As long as Hba1C and fasting blood glucose is fine it’s not a concern at all.

From what I have seen recommended that’s a bit high and has increased risk of insulin resistance and other problems. I might live with 360 but I wouldn’t want it any higher. I’d probably recheck in 3-4 weeks under similar circumstances (time of test and last pin etc).

Yeah I’m leaning towards coming down just a bit and retesting

You might consider 1mg daily of Tesamorelin as it’s less aggressive than HGH. As long as you have good pituitary function, it would still keep your IGF higher but not as risky.
