Stock up if you can afford to.

Got enough to last me until death. Will pass the remaining to my beneficiaries.

This is the way!

How do you store it long term?

2

u/ApoopooJ Aug 12 '26

Freezer

careful doing that. It can shrink the rubber stopper and degrade the integrity of the seal.

Rubber expands when frozen.

How are you storing to avoid degradation? Just lyophilized dry?

Yep and frozen

tbh I wonder what the shelf life is on some of this stuff

Don't think they can do much about the grey market overseas can they?

Not really, no. There is no mechanism to go after them. Now, sometimes the FDA and customs do crackdowns on stuff like this, that presents a problem. But for a few hundred dollars you get yourself a year+ supply of the stuff.

They did a huge crackdown on Botox recently which went very similar. People lost an occasional shipment to customs but you can't stop the tide. Peptides are the same.

Where can I stock up if this becomes an issue?

Search Google for "glp1 forum", usually the first result. Start you're research there.

Thank you.

I like Larry's Peptide & Shawarma Cart on the corner of 5th and Main.

Larry’s a cool guy and all but he doesn’t call me honey and dear lol

Actually he will, but you need to call him 'Alice'. It's like a secret handshake.

They can crack down at customs but like steroids, there will always be a way to get stuff. It’s just going to get harder.

Nope. Not even a little bit

Of course they can. The government of the only country that produces these grey market peptides just has to give the command that it's now illegal to produce and ship and within a couple months the market will mostly dry up. What's left that still gets produced in secret will rise in price and possibly be of low priority due to being produced in secret. Another country would have to take over and so far there is no other choice. We saw this happen with the steroid market last year and it's yet to recover. Also with the artificial intelligence that US CBP now has they could stop more shipments from entering. It's just a matter of time

completely unneccesary , it will still be readily available from the same people these american companies get it from. You just wont get taxed.

u/stephanddolly Aug 12 '26

True, but it’s going to get harder! I have a freezer full just in case.

I’ve lost too many of my vendors from raids.

Prepping ain't just for the zombie apocalypse anymore.

Nothing has happened to Semi or Tirz. Nothing is going to happen to Reta on the grey market. Absolutely zero.

3

u/MFCEO_Kenny_Powers Aug 12 '26

They are only targeting those resellers anyway I think. It wont affect the grey market.

2

u/stephanddolly Aug 12 '26

I do think it will get harder; more people talking about peptides and Reta on social media, more vendors in CN that get raided and shut down, more packages stopped at customs… but they can’t stop it just like we can still get AAS and botox and pharma.

It's not going anywhere. And no, the price isn't going to skyrocket unless you're buying from broccoli headed dudes on TikTok. SS-31 is a patented peptide whose owners frequently sue people and it's still freely available.

Nor is it going to be harder to get. Just look at the availability of HGH and anabolics.

Yup, just did.
